John McCain made this pick out of his ass and now everyone is just scrambling to be loyal. Sometimes the Daily show is the greatest thing ever. did anyone else see the the clip of karl rove saying that Tim Kaine wasn’t ready to be VP because He had only been a governor for 3 years and that the city he was in charge of was to small to be of any relevance on a national level of experience. And then a few weeks later have to say say that Sarah Palin WAS ready because she has over 1 year of executive experience and letting everyone know that she was mayor of the second largest city in Alaska, even though its much smaller than the city he tried to shit on Tim Kaine for running.

Alot of people on the republican side think this pick is retarded but its too late to bail out now. where are they going to go Bob Barr?

Republicans have always had the notion of less government, but that’s more of a problem i think. Always have the notion of “everything will fix itself” such as the housing problem and no one is accountable when things go wrong.

the only sexist argument I’ve heard is regarding the question if she can actually be president because of the family that she has. that is legitimate sexism because that would never be asked of a male candidate. People assume the woman will take care of the kid and the man will not be hampered by their family life.
