So Iāve been updating the FF V thread at TestYourMight.com and from the looks of things, MK 9 is probably going to have something around 30 people or so. But thatās just a rough estimate on my part.

Is there a schedule for stream time? Iām curious how much time MK will get. I know we wonāt have a huge turn out but a lot of top players are coming, including the EVO champion and Canadaās best player. The top 8 should be stacked. The MK scene will want to tune in to see the matches. Thanks.
We donāt have an exact stream schedule hammered out yet, but I can tell you my main objective is to make sure every single game gets time on screen, at least top 4 if not top 8.
Related: Iām going through and purchasing games/DLC for the PS3 for the games that will be on it, though Iām going to request that someone from GGA bring a spare PS3 copy of MK if possible, already shelling out at least $60 so if I can save $20 on the disc thatād be a huge help.
I wonāt be bringing a full station, but I can bring my copy of MK 9: Komplete Edition as well if that helps you at all.
Yeah it wouldnāt hurt, I have the DLC characters now but will need a disc either way.
MK9 should get its fair time mainly because of the high caliber of players actually from Chicago.
But yeah I hope every top8 gets shown. I just hope we dont have to stall too many top 8ās though. Last tournament we had to wait a good amount of time before SF4 top8 was shown.
Realistically, top 8 in every game would be nice, but we will have to see how time works out. The more games we do top 8 on stream, the less time we have for team tournaments and special tournaments. We hope to have tons of setups this year so hopefully the regular brackets go quick. I want to give top 8 time to GG, Marvel, and AE at the very least. I know MK is big in Chi so we will do our best. At the very least, all games will have semi finals and finals on stream guaranteed.
Also, if you plan to bring a setup, please post here so we can add you to the guaranteed list. We will still take any setups people bring if you are not on the list as long as we have space for them. Once we have no room for setups and you are not on the list, we will not be taking your setup. Remember that people who bring setups do not have to pay venue fee!
Unless Mike has specific objections, if a game reaches top 4/8 while the current stream game is still in the middle stages of the bracket Iām okay with putting it on and then switching back to the other game as it reaches its own top matches. How much Iām willing to devote to each game will largely depend on number of entrants.

I would like to get a good amount of GG on as well since, after all, FF is a GG event at heart and the game is starting to get a lot of fire with the new release.
Donāt worry I am sure we will have no problem streaming the entire SG tournament, all 8 matches!
