Hey all, this is our first open invitation tournament and seeing as SRK is the place to be I figured if anyone around was interesting in having some fun, and some free food lol, why not open it up.

Free Entrance, just come and have fun
Sign ups at 11 am -12 pm SHARP. Please be there promptly for warm up games as I cant guarantee you will be seeded after 12

Tournament Games:

Ultimate MvC3 (xbox 360)
SSF4 AE (xbox 360)
Tekken 6 and TTT2 prologue (ps3)
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 (ps3)
Super Smash Bros. Brawl(wii)

Casual Games
Rock band/Guitar Hero/Dj Hero (various)
Soul Calibur 4 (ps3)
BlazBlue (ps3)
Super Smash Bros. Melee (wii/gc)
KoF 13 (xbox)
Mario Kart wii
Yugioh/Magic Card game

Rules
SSF4, UMVC3
1st Place: 25$, 2nd Place: 10$
Losers Bracket: Yes
Matches: 2/3, (Grand finals, losers finals 3/5)
Winner Locked to character(s)/assists/ ultras, loser choice to change either. For UMVC3, winner team order as well as assists CAN NOT be changed.

Tekken 6
1st Place 15$, 2nd Place 10$
Loser’s Bracket: Dependent Upon Turnout
Rules: Same as SSF4/UMVC, with the inclusion of no items and random stage select, and if the both parties agree dislike of stage (ala sheep stage), they may choose a different, random, stage.

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2
1st Place 15$, 2nd Place 10$
Loser’s Bracket: Dependent Upon Turnout
Rules: Same as SSF4/UMVC, with the inclusion of winner must keep winning character but MAY change assist(s) and types.

Super Smash Wii
1st Place 15$, 2nd Place: 10$
Loser’s Bracket: Dependent Upon Turnout
Rules: 7 min rounds, 4 stock, no items, random stages, metaknight banned, if both opponents dislike the stage, ala earthbound stage, may select another random stage, but BOTH must agree. Winner is character locked, but can change color if wanted, loser may change anything

Food will be provided, as well as drinks.
We will have controllers and sticks but I STRONGLY ADVISE you bring your own things, as we all know, can never be to careful.

Sure Poe, I know for a fact if you coming all the way from ny, somebody can go give you a ride. I assume you mean if you took the path to newark if someone could run down and get you though? If so then sure, just reply if you do want and maybe we can set something up.

Hey SLik, I know I have sc4 for the ps3 but I lost all my data like a dumbass. If you can come by and bring yours, assuming you have all the data on your harddrive, we could definitely use it.

You can take the subway/light rail from newark penn to NJIT. I think its 2 stops/warren St. IIRC. It lets you out in the back near the tennis courts and you can walk to the Student center.

Ok cool, thanks. That would be an easy trip for me as I’m not too far from the trains to NJ. Not sure that I can make it this weekend, but I’m always looking for different events in the area to check out.
