I don’t understand your first comment (he said that Necrostorm likely didn’t want to release it until 2015-2016) but hopefully people with disc copies will start uploading.
He got at me on twitter Heated right from the get go, The current release date is apparently fake to shut up haters and the real release is 2016, Also he doesn’t believe their official site or forums is their official site or forums.
Oh alright. That’s a bit ridiculous. I follow him on twitter but…I honestly don’t check twitter that often. He’s been holding a torch for Death Cargo for a while though. Reality is even if that WAS true and Necrostorm needed more time then they just should’ve announced something…anything…(maybe some interviews, PR damage control, etc) instead of doing the complete and total opposite. Their atrocious PR and approach with potential customers (like yourself) completely overshadowed the game.
Yeah, I ain’t gonna lie, From my experience, He acted like he had half a brain, But yeah, I agree, Instead of acting the way they did, If they needed more time, just say, and if they had a decent attitude and were sincere, people would have believed it, but as it is they’ve just shot themselves in the foot and even if the game ends up decent or good that no longer will matter.
Guy went full crazy at me, is he special needs or something? According to him the company operate exclusively out of their YouTube page and the page selling the game is a lie. Sounds legit to me…
If your talking about the last few posts, Me and GA got hit up on twitter by a MK player going crazy over death cargo and making wild statements and in general being an idiot, http://imgur.com/a/vPexN all i did was inform him it released in march and he went on 10 tweet rant, I don’t have all of it, But i have most, He’s since deleted all the tweets. He also said the official forum wasn’t their real forum, Their site wasn’t their real site and both their facebooks weren’t theirs either, he deleted before i capped those, the only real thing was the youtube channel.
From what I’ve watched, I have to admit that it would be a pretty bad ass game if they put as much work into it as they did with Plasma and the “control room” stage. The animations are fairly well done.
Lol I just don’t understand how from when I tested the game back in 2012 they had a working menu, character select screen, and two complete characters (Plasma & Leach)… to this excuse for an .exe
I also believe (no proof) that they just put these “error messages” in the game.
Also if you actually own the game, run it in compatibility mode (XP Sp 3)…chances are it will run better.
This guy is a full blown psychopath. Why is he attacking you in such a way? It’s not his video game. .
Anyway the general idea seems to be that they released the game, broken as much as it is, just to prove it exists. A sad sad sad company with a failure of a release. It had such potential, and we all wanted it to be something. . They faked a release to gain a profit. . Pathetic.
I do and I’m a friend of the OP from the indievault forum, one of the first to get threatened with legal actions, so I joined him and started spreading the voice about those necrofrauds going around threatening people to rise awareness of the situation and making you guys know that these people are nothing short of scam.
He tried disassembling it with a friend and can confirm it is indeed made with Multimedia Fusion.
Call SaltyBets! PogChamp
By the way, I think it is fairly clear that these guys had nothing in their hands these 3 years and now that they got exposed they hurried carrying out an unplayable mess so that people can at least acknowledge that Death Cargo actually exists.
I think they actually started developing this game when Kotaku wrote them, this would explain many things.
If you gentlemen don’t like to be trolled, then don’t start the whole “u mad bruh” trolling spree or flinging insults if you can’t take the trolling back when it’s returned. When someone tries acting smart with me or getting douchey, I will troll you back twice as hard because most of you catch feelings too quick when you’re on the offensive.
Also allow me to clarify some of these fabricated claims:
Welp, looks like someone else was also “going crazy” and tweeting out of their mind. I guess you just forgot to include that in your version of the story?
Short recap: Basically the conversation between the three of us started civil at first and was pretty opinionated. They have no clue I’ve kept in touch with Necrostorm developers through YouTube messaging since 2011 where Necrostorm shares with me some of the true issues they’re having with the game under wraps. Then the whole “u mad bro”, “so much sodium”, “feed me more salty tears” random and off topic Tweets start coming out so I decided to no take the discussion serious any longer and fire back with some of my own trolling. During this I never called any of you names or flung mild insults like you two did. You guys on the other hand can’t take being trolled back so that’s not my problem. The end result is you two being quite angry about it still and I just find it funny how you two came on here trying to act like I came out of no where and went on a trolling spree on two random “victims”. lol!
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, @Pikachu. I had a good laugh.
I don’t know much about servers, but I wasn’t aware that too many people downloading the game would mess up files. If anything, the download speed would be slower.
