Death Cargo

has anyone played the game yet? O_o
that backwards Arachno name has me concerned yet again…

So now what?

We play the waiting game, obviously.

Tattoo Assassins was never released even Data East Pinball(Which never messed with games in general) knew how shit that game was.

Even then Tattoo Assassins was way more complete than Death Cargo, the same could be said with Primal Rage 2. Maybe, Capcom Fighting Allstars I believe that had 12 characters done in the location test.

No, No one on the forums has it yet.

True, but at least I can play “Tattoo Assassins” on my Mame machine.

…the horror

they certainly got a lot of (intentional?) publicity
had they released the game normally it would have been forgotten in a few weeks…

Time Slaughter’s marketing was surprisingly very good
back then they included a funny demo and if you ordered the game from them you got a CD Music version.
Plus the developers were famous for their emulators.

Timeslaughter is a guilty pleasure of mine. Considering it was made by two kids fresh out of highschool in 96 it’s pretty impressive. NESticle came later in 97.

If anyone can get ahold of people who have bought a copy but haven’t received it yet have them e-mail the guy who wrote the Kotaku article. I sent him the Facebook post with the message and he still hasn’t heard anything from Necrostorm regarding his personal copy, and is looking to see if anyone has a working game going yet.

Not that it much matters as the real issue is the Customer Service, but if they actually do have some kind of “game” going it at least solves one issue pestering people.

The animation in this makes MK9 and Injustice look like a Japanese fighter in comparison.

You guys are getting bullied on the necrostorm facebook comments xD

lol yeah, I had to hop on there a little, So much bootlicking and dumb people.

These are also the same people that live in their parents basement, eat hot pockets, and get-off playing bikini karate babes.

Going to save it in case it’ll need (hopefully it won’t happen) reupload.

PS.:

"If a western company did that"
italy belongs to the western world. Europe.

"If capcom did that"
Capcom is a Japanese company. Eastern.

i don’t know, that part wasn’t very organized, haha.

Yeah, You know what i mean though, I’m not terribly awesome at wording things haha.

there is nothing wrong with hot pockets

While we DO have some good indie developers, Italy is kinda the laughing stock of Europe, so his differentiation kinda works and applies well even to the situation. Believe me, i’m not proud to be italian. But not because of Necrostorm, but simply because we’re a fucked up country.

This. Exactly this. Even though it is obviously no technical marvel, the idea of having a crazy indy sfx studio work on a fighting game with all sorts of crazy monsters actually sounds like a fun idea to me (in a guilty pleasure sort of way way). If Necrostorm were more genuinely forthcoming with what they were doing and released the actual game on time as promised, I would be wholeheartedly supporting their work right now.

I’ve been following this game since it was announced, and I have been lurking these threads seeing how it was all turning out…and I couldn’t be any more dissapointed. Even if they did actually produce a full working game, my confidence in Necrostorm has been shaken way too much. I sincerely hope I’m wrong, and Necrostorm releases the full game complete with revised DRM policy and customer service departments. I’m just disappointed that it looks like it will never happen.

Excuse me? Bikini Karate Babes players have standards, thank you very much.
