Death Cargo - A Horror Story

They just straight up said that they are not giving the game to the people who purchased it.

I was joking when I said this before, but anyone who purchased the game should come together and seriously consider legal action.

The way the Italian economy is, people who got bum purchases are getting paid back in spaghetti.

So why bother?

Some dude in TestYourMight bought the game

This dude was also denied the game. Thatā€™s two people now.

Saw his facebook comment too, went back on the page after a few minutes and the comment was deleted LOL.

These guys just flat out deny their customers their copy of the ā€œgameā€.

Swear down, how many days are we going to have to wait to get to the bottom of this?

OMG itā€™s a conspiracy guys, they are using your money to secretly fund Adam Chaplin 2!!!

prob scam for preorders and ppl that forgot about it :frowning:

I was just gonna youtube all the fatalities once the game came out. But now Iā€™ll never have that joy. Can I sue for mental anguish?

Wellā€¦Iā€™m glad people finally seem to understand now. That is why I started this thread. That is why these places (shoryuken & TYM) are so important. Necrostorm will delete all negative posts in their forum and also have figured out a way to censor Youtube submssions under the guise of ā€˜copyright infringementā€™. Someone would have to be working very hard at Necrostorm to silence people to this extent.

Iā€™m not surprised they found Mikemetroid. (I saw the e-mail on TYM. The reality is that someone from that company clearly is going through this forum and others and adding anyone who posts to their blacklist databaseā€¦I know that sounds incredible, but itā€™s happening - ask yourself why any legit company would do that)

That facebook clip that someone posted is vintage Necrostorm. I actually saw the Taeter City movie after I had pre-ordered Death Cargo, and after seeing an actual finished necrostorm product my thoughts ran to something like thisā€¦ā€œOh fuckā€¦this doesnā€™t look good at all. I think Iā€™m screwed.ā€

Itā€™s so rare these days that you actually find an honest to god bad-guyā€¦but we have clearly found one here.

I noticed a number of people on the TYM forums questioning why the media doesnā€™t seem to have picked up on this yet, but it seems impossible to sign up on there to leave a message (activation email doesnā€™t arrive).

I have it on, letā€™s say ā€˜good authorityā€™, that there is indeed a media eye on this debacle, and theyā€™re just waiting to see how it all pans out. Iā€™m told that a number of journalists for various sources (print and online) are still awaiting hard copies that they purchased themselves (ie. did not approach Necrostorm to secure a review copy, merely a personal purchase); not only pre-order editions, but also standard editions purchased after the initial release date. None of them have the game in-hand as of yet, but theyā€™re holding off making any kind of public mention as they wait for the whole story to come to a close. Iā€™m not sure if any of them have ā€˜revealedā€™ their employment in order to bring forward a complaint and been met with the same kind of blacklisting as members of the public. I havenā€™t heard as much, at least.

Iā€™m not sure if itā€™s a language issue, but Necrostormā€™s most recent Facebook post seems to indicate that this alleged 20 people that were complaining about not receiving their pre-order were, in fact, just trolls who never purchased the game anyway. Am I reading that correctly? If so, itā€™s so blatantly untrue as to be absolutely mind-boggling. All of those ā€œOne of the 20 hereā€ posts on Facebook that disappeared were angry trolls? I seriously doubt it.

Thereā€™s much to be said about all of this, but that will come in time. Whatever the outcome, even when/if people end up with hard copies in their hands and an enjoyable game on their screens, it will still stand as a stark display of just how not to operate your companyā€™s PR and customer interaction. Itā€™s being noted.

youā€™re doing it wrong,

_ā€“

LOL, wtf was that shit. Who in their right mind would actually want to play that piece of shit game, it jsut looks fucking bad. Serves you folk right for having such taste cancer. Niggaā€™s proabably got caught up on that 80ā€™s theme music nostalgia and shitty zombie movie effects.

The quality of that game can be equated to your typical Italian car. It tries so fucking hard, tries to look good, and ends up falling face flat once you actually get to use it.

The fun never ends!

Jesus Mikeā€¦Yeahā€¦looks familiar to me. I wasnā€™t kidding when I said they read everything posted on Shoryuken and Test your Might.
This thread was the only avenue I had to do something about what was happeningā€¦If there is anyone reading this that actually has the power to do something then pleaseā€¦STOP THESE GUYS.
Honestly, it just keeps getting worse.

Most companies would fall over themselves to get a chance to redeem themselves via selling their product to their more critical fanbase.

Necrostorm is not one of those companies.

Fraud confirmed.

Iā€™ve been on their forum where they say you must keep the activation window open for 48 hours before you can play it. . Wow.
The reason they are refunding people who call it a scam is because, legally those people need a stake in the game in order to process a lawsuit. Necrostorm are a team of childish scumbags that make terrible movies, and to save on this money pit, decided to turn it into a scam.

My old scumbag boss used to do the same thing. . He would take bill payments in cash, but never pay the bill for the customer. . When the customer came back, he finally paid the bill for them, using a ton of excuses. . Make a guess how many people never came back.

He had at least 100 payments totalling almost 10 grand in cash in the back room.

Theres nothing funny about Shoryuken I guess :frowning:

This is getting kind of ridiculous now, I doubt that 6,980 people have this game and arenā€™t uploading images or footage out there for the sake of the company. I also think the immature way they handle Customer Service is baffling, I have never seen a company degrade and mock people while refusing them service in such a way.

Iā€™mma make a DToid account just to send this stuff to them, or e-mail Jim Sterling. This is to crazy.

Sorry Mike, no access to Photoshop or my illustrious gif library that I stole from RockB at work.

Didnā€™t read the thread, but Death Cargo looks awesome canā€™t wait to get my hands on it, will order it sometime this week.

the game does exist

it the real deal

Pics video or it didnā€™t happen.

I went to The Federal Bureau of Investigation website and reported it. I have to wait for a reply, but it is covered under their Non-Delivery Fraud Clause. They cover domestic and international fraud, so Iā€™m hoping they give a quick response, and hopefully they will contact necrostorm directly. Letā€™s see how Necrostorm talks to the fedsā€¦ maybe they will call them ā€œfat trollsā€.
This is getting juicy.
