It’s not that weird, just a list of games and characters I play. The Akuma pic is my tattoo, I should probably upload a more recent one now that he’s settled into his home.
This post is so perfect. Many lulz were had.
@angelpalm: I’m done talking to you. Some of your posts also provide me with lulz, which I appreciate but mostly you are just being offensive for no good reason and ignoring any arguments against you without actually considering what is being said. I genuinely wish you a less angsty tomorrow.
So…
I think they did ship the game, they were all being delivered by Hearse, problem is it went missing, leaving everyone asking, “where did the Death Car go?”
Wow…just wow.
13 and a half hours in and I just finished chapter one of the story. What a ride. The art, the story, the voice acting, all top notch. Its just a roller-coaster of emotions. I have never cried so hard in my life after I found out what they did to Plasma’s parents. There was brilliant, dark humor during the Protein X’s bits and Nova’s “special scenes” were certainly not unwelcome. My hands are shaking because I just can’t wait for part 2 to be released. Its almost evil how it was so incredible and over the top it all was, but they tease how much bigger it is going to get. My nerves are shot and my urinal tract is destroyed, but I couldn’t be happier.
Spoilers for my thoughts on what might happen in part two/philosophical interpretation
Spoiler
I think “death cargo” is a metaphor for the brutality of modern society. In many ways we are just cattle waiting to be slaughtered. E-21, being the “soul” in a chemically synthesized form, it is a poignant critique of our materialistic culture, that which is most precious to us reduced to a simple, impersonal compound. I also feel like there is going to be a really strong, metaphysical shift in the later acts, with free will and agency being brought into question, the photorealistic actors of this story being a thinly veiled representation of the player. Its almost like the game is playing us, which is just a huge trip
Anyway, if you haven’t gotten your copy yet, get on it NOW.
That guy Maxx was telling us to be patient, but it seems like he’s starting to see the light. I feel very bad for people like him who have to deal with this company’s lies.
I just want to post this again-
It shows just how lucrative their potential scam is for them if they do not ever have to send out a product.
"6000 people have their copy…"
let’s say this really is a scam, and Necro’s stats for purchases are correct.
if 6000 people purchased this game at $29.99, that’s $180,000.
let’s say it cost Necro at most ten thousand USD to produce the fake screens/vids/beta, they would still have made out with over $165,000.
and they can’t understand why people are pissed?
not to mention the probably hundreds, if not thousands of digital downloads at $20.
on top of that, the initial (3 years ago) people who gave them money to fund the project!
let’s say this scam brought them over $200,000… a scam 3 years in the making, aimed at taking advantage of the exploitation movie feel,
aimed at fighting gamers, as well as lovers of good gore.
if you look at the amount of people who want brutal fatalities (some vids on Youtube have over 3.5million views), that is the perfect target demographic to attempt to scam when your company already puts out similar material.
why then, would they even bother to make the game?
they could just commit company suicide, and keep the $200,000 dollars they potentially got.
i can say with almost certainty, that any of their snuff/exploitation films have never gotten them close to this amount.
They have a dying company, and they figured this was the best way to put it out of ours misery.
it’s painful to believe, but as you can see, it makes sense on paper.
