Yea use the lk dash and do the pp fast, its easy once u get use to it.

So i’ve been using st.mp, st.mp - TC-df.lk-mp alot, the only opening is after the second mp and the TC is -1 on block.
I usually do st.mp, cr.hp, CADC back bec everything else is unsafe, i use TC-st.mk-cr.lk as well just for hit confirm into luncher.
St.mp, st.mp - TC-df.lk-mp keeps the pressure on for a long time and it trains ur opponent to look for all of the strings, it confirms into geyser and it space Nina out where cr.mk can reach and the second hit of her ivory cutter. TC-df.lk-mp It hits opponents out of the air and it moves Nina forward so if u whiff the TC when they try to cross up the cross up will whiff.

HP SS you mean HK SS or am I missing something? I’m trying to do this in a tag combo.
As anyone tried cr.hp, special step, cr.hp… Works for Lars. Also works as a counter hit as an AA

Edit: lol skull splitter I though it meant special step.

Edit2: f that cr.hp cr.hp is fine…

Also what’s the best combo after a tag in??

Skull Splitter, not Special Step/Rolling Dash.

I tried a new combo today with Nina and Jin it didn’t really work out but I thought I would post this finding:

Starting with Jin:
Shun Mesatsu, mist step~lp, st.mk, PSxxMLD, tag in Nina, j.hp, cr.hp, cr.hp…

Notice she gets two cr.hp. I couldn’t get SS, cr.hp, SS, ivory cutter or just SS, ivory cutter off this combo. Too bad her cr.hp doesn’t deal 90 Dmg.

Any help finishing this combo would be cool.

Don’t do two cr.HP in that instance. It’s pointless, they take up the same amount of juggle points.

Just do j.HK, cr.HP xx HK Geyser, Ivory Cutter. Short, simple, damaging, to the point.

Found a new anti air combo by accident the other day. Light Geyser, jHP, crHP xx Geyser, Ivory Cutter. I haven’t managed to find the right timing in training room yet as I always land too late after the jHP to hit the crHP.

Btw I think the best combo starting nina would be
j.hk cr.hp hp geyser hp skull cr.hp geyser ivory cutter tag shun mesatsu cadc cr.mp cr.hp ss mp. 514 from what I remember.
EDIT: j.hk cr.hp hp geyser hp geyser hp geyser ivory cutter tag shun mesatsu cadc cr.mp cr.hp ss mp 519.

And is the best Nina solo
j.hk cr.hp hp geyser hp skull cr.hp geyser ivory cutter ~454 (well ending in ivory cutter)?

While not the most optimized her round house Geyser loop nets about 400-415 I think it was, plus it’s much easier to execute if you don’t want to bother with skull splitter execution, and you can still get the same hard knock down set ups with ivory cutter ender.

My execution is pretty on point with this game. The only problem I have with nina is I can’t do the followups to her command grab lol, never even bothered to try it.

Practice it for 15 minutes, you’ll never lose the timing.

What are the timings?

Really late.

Haha lol thanks but could you give me visual timings?
Like for the first one after she snaps the elbow and like sweat comes out.

I didn’t give visual timings because honestly they aren’t that helpful for armsnaps.

Better to just get a feel for the timing naturally.

Try doing them in Tekken and you’ll never ever miss them in this game. They’re so hard to hit in Tekken it’s stupid, lol

EVERYONE IS DOING NINA’S MOST DAMAGING COMBO RIGHT?
Starter xx heavy gc, heavy gc, heavy gc, ivory cutter xx tag

Seriously, this does more damage than any of her combos if your partner can get decent damage on the tag in. I’m using Akuma and can get a max of 524 with a jump in. 504 without.

I’ve seen the combo. I wasn’t sure how much damage it did compared to her other stuff because…well my TV has really meh definition so it’s nigh impossible to read training mode numbers.

Doing it normally is like
grab them
wait
double tap the two buttons
wait
wait
double tap two buttons

JUST started doing this combo like last week since I saw how much easier it was for me to do. so this is more optimized than splitter loops now huh?

ANY combo involving a tag with Nina does more damage if you do starter xx GC[x3], IC xx tag.

This thread has helped quite a bit. I’ll be adding some later!
