I live to trigger.
I’m probably one of the few 90’s kids who isn’t up in arms about the new shows while crying about my childhood being ruined. Shit changes, deal with it. I enjoy Steven Universe, Gumball, and Clarence, but even though I’m not feeling the new PPG reboot, I’m not going to compare it to the original show. Just like Teen Titans Go, it’s not meant to be like the original - they’re both basically “modernized parodies” of the original shows (at least from my perspective, with the use of slang and twerking), and the next generation won’t always experience what the previous generation did. Now, I’m not saying they’re good (haven’t seen much of PPG reboot other than the twerking outrage and TTG is a hot mess to be honest), but they haven’t caused me any distress.
That’s said, I’ve never really watched Swat Katz, but if the reboot is being done by the original creator, then it shouldn’t suffer the same treatment as the PPG reboot.
Aren’t you like, 22?
Should have known it was Tien Gouki who made this thread, rofl. Forever salty about cartoons. Swat Kats is top 5 of all time for me and I’m not even salty.
'dat season 2 intro doe:

One of the best animated intro sequences in US cartoon history.
I find the original to be much better:

Give it up nigga. These aren’t our shows anymore. They’re not for us. Only two shows that are decent there now are The Amazing World of Gumball and We Bare Bears at best. TTGo has its moments too but otherwise nothing else matters.
PPG now is like SU tumblr bait. Adventure Time is well past its prime. Reg Show is good too but is starting to wear thin. If any show is slightly aimed at us it’s Reg Show for sure.
Just boot up Netflix and run Young Justice reruns until they pick that up… It’s about your only recourse as these networks don’t give a fuck about quality action cartoons anymore.
Swat katz sucked

I hope Dr. Viper experiments on you.
I never caught the appeal of Swat Kats, but I think it’s a timing thing. We never had cable in 1993-1995, and by the the time it showed on free-to-air TV, it was competing with Pokemon.
cartoon network isn’t crap anymore, they rely on teen titans go and now that god awful powerpuff girls reboot

Is uncle grandpa still a thing? If it is cartoon network is still shit tier.

not sure, i stopped watching CN, the last good show they had was gumball (imo) but i rarely even see that on, its always teen titans go
Cartoons and anime getting shitty reboots seem to be a thing right now, so I’m not too sad about Swat Kats not coming back.

The difference being the original 2 creators were the ones actually making the new Swat Kats show.
Cartoon network?
I thought it died when Samurai Jack ended.
Ah those were the days. Good times.
Y’all do know that Samurai Jack is coming back with Gendy and the old team on board!!
Update:
Plus a new serious themed JLA cartoon, with Conroy & Hamil as the voices of Batman and The Joker.

I paused…So when?
To be quite honest cartoons have been absolute shit for the last 17 years since Cartoon Network monopolized the whole western animation industry.
Fuck CN forever. Give me Ren and Stimpy, give me Garfield and Friends, give me Earthworm Jim, Animaniacs and all the good shit of the 90s.
Swat Kats was good but it was before CN’s rise to awfulness.
Younge Justice was canceled as the show as not getting the demographic the TV execs wanted, they wanted young boys to watch the show not adult women which makes up the bulk of the shows audience, The opposite with MLP. Execs claim that adult women don’t buy the toys from the ads like the boys would.
