You guys are silly.
Someone took my picture yesterday 'cause they recognised my Ibuki, so I directed him to the guide. I’m not too sure if that’s the lifestyle I want, but a fan’s a fan, and it makes me want to keep up, even though it’s pretty much impossible to continue playing =(
Recognized your Ibuki? You mean like what color/costume you use?
So… they recognized an Ibuki that likes to SJC U1 and then mash EX kazegiri afterwards?

No. SJC U1 deals heavy damage and leaves you in (-1) state and in the position to kara-throw. In the corner it’s a 50/50 of whether or not you’ll kara-throw or EX Kazegiri, the EX Kazegiri beats every button press (reversal, that isn’t EX) including jumps and backdashes.
You should know because it’s hit you more than once, the throw and the EX Kazegiri.
Anyway, the reason why I say no is because I didn’t do the EX Kazegiri, it did enough to end the round.
I guess it would be like recognizing your Ryu, that mashes dp every time he was in block stun

That’s like saying you won’t play anybody seriously that makes good reads. I’m guessing if you had to play Daigo, you wouldn’t play him seriously either?

Um, no. You can replace “Daigo” with any player that makes good reads.
Anyways, you’re the one that got dp-ed to death. Maybe you shoulda just blocked.

I don’t understand why you would be using Ultra 1 in the first place.
I had a similar problem a few weeks back when one of my friends picked up a new character, if your finding it hard to deal damage, stop rushing in and think about what options you have, if they are AAing you when you jump in, stop jumping and move in slowly, build meter, wait for the fireball or w/e they are spamming and punish it with a ex neckbreaker or something like that, if they spam fire balls, absorb or slide under and make your way over. Dont get disheartend if they are stuck ina corner make your way over and work on knocking down for vortex or some nice TC, Ex kicks, Raida for some dmg, play patiently ibukis not got enough health to not read and run in guns blazing sometimes.

Edit : by no means am i a good ibuki player this is just what i would do, i play ibuki cause i like the character though im still learning myself, just keep at it

Haha oh you guys. Mingo is a good player and even I raged when I played him, but that’s how we learn. I’ve learned to stop doing random crap and it improved my gameplay (pretty obvious change), but yeaaaa instead of me jumping in, it’s the opponent that jumps in now. The only thing that bothers me is the internet lag and sometimes input lag.
@Mingo: I’m not even sure if it’s input lag or if the screen resolution is too big for my xbox. Very rarely, it has graphic lag when I use E. Ryu’s U1 in the corner. Maybe my xbox is just retarded since it was refurbished and not new. Also, it’s the basic 360, no pro, no elite.
I’ve had like 5 Xboxes and all of them randomly have graphic lag in like the Diner stage or when I SJC into U2. I just got used to it.
I remember when I played AE at the arcade and the game would get nasty ass slowdown for a long time when it was Evil Ryu and Akuma on the screen, lol.
