I’m guessing your Ibuki training partner also gets pwned by jump back spam then.

Yes.

I’m not so sure about watching. Depends on the level of your local scene I suppose, as time may be better spent watching high level play at big tournaments/majors like Evo. This is assuming you want to be efficient with your time. If you have time to kill, then by all means, watch everything.

I don’t really care who he is, what character plays, or if he even plays this game. If he gives good advice, then okay. But if he basically tells you to play like a flowchart and to do things that jump back HK would actually counter, then he should gtfo.

Btw I just remembered that Boxer’s jab dash punch is punishable on block by Ken’s dp. So yeah, I don’t think this guy knows anything about what he’s talking about.

I couldn’t care less. Welcome to the internets bro.

that makes no sense considering it’s not hard to keep them grounded.

flowchart Rog, yes. 'cus tick throws and delayed jabs are totally flowchart and scrubby. Not like the jab can’t keep them grounded or anything.

and I just remembered if anyone was half decent, they would be well-spaced. the only way they get reversal dp’d is if it’s from point blank range.

I’m no Ibuki expert so listen to Mingo, but spaced-rush punches can keep you in if he’s holding db. cr.jabs can keep him grounded or hit them out of the air if they persist to jump.

Ok I’m just in this forum to improve my Ibuki play and hopefully/eventually enter some tournaments with even a slight chance of winning. Oh yea, I connected my xbox to my monitor using HDMI and it seems to have better framerates than my hdtv. The thing is, I got so used to audio and slower framerate, I can’t even do SJC cds anymore!

I’ll try to record my match soon.

I’m pretty sure SSF4 runs at a constant 60fps, no matter what monitor or TV you use. Perhaps you’re talking about input lag?

EDIT: Played a guy 20-0 who said he was a fan -> Kazegiri to Super is very good -> Different screens, different video/audio lag -> yes I get light-headed when I play seriously -> None of my stuff is set-up 'cause I’m busy for the rest of the year.

Sorry for the post (which was intentionally meant to be full of puns).

what

Edited, =(

what

lol.

You guys are silly.
Someone took my picture yesterday 'cause they recognised my Ibuki, so I directed him to the guide. I’m not too sure if that’s the lifestyle I want, but a fan’s a fan, and it makes me want to keep up, even though it’s pretty much impossible to continue playing =(

Recognized your Ibuki? You mean like what color/costume you use?

SJC Ultra 1

So… they recognized an Ibuki that likes to SJC U1 and then mash EX kazegiri afterwards?

No. SJC U1 deals heavy damage and leaves you in (-1) state and in the position to kara-throw. In the corner it’s a 50/50 of whether or not you’ll kara-throw or EX Kazegiri, the EX Kazegiri beats every button press (reversal, that isn’t EX) including jumps and backdashes.

You should know because it’s hit you more than once, the throw and the EX Kazegiri.

Anyway, the reason why I say no is because I didn’t do the EX Kazegiri, it did enough to end the round.

I guess it would be like recognizing your Ryu, that mashes dp every time he was in block stun

At least I won, amirite?

I told you before there are certain people that I can’t play seriously and you are one of them. Sorry but there’s just no other way to put it.

That’s like saying you won’t play anybody seriously that makes good reads. I’m guessing if you had to play Daigo, you wouldn’t play him seriously either?

OMG did you just compare yourself to Daigo because you mash dp? (BTW I’m done with this convo)

I AM DAIGO
