The fantastic four are marvel’s favorite family, so they will always pull some shit, like when Ben was dead and Reed had part of his face permanently disfigured by Doom, how did they fix all that? By meeting Marvel’s staff! It’s one of the worst things Marvel has done.
As for making Galactus a herald, it happens. The son of Hulk was also destined to make Galactus his herald as well. But now Galactus has evolved to super Galactus, and those futures might not come to pass.
[details=Spoiler]so the only thing he could do is not feeling pain? That’s it? That’s not really a super power is it? You could surgically remove your ability to feel pain, that’s such a common thing that it’s not even a super power at all. Can he even heal from anything he received? Like the sword cut in his shoulder and his thigh?
Even if he can’t feel pain, if he injures his foot, it should be impossible for him to keep on moving as before because even if the brain could still keep sending the commands to move the foot, the foot muscles cannot enact those commands under injuries.
That’s why I keep thinking that he had healing factor because he was still able to move even when his body was busted.
He was also able to bend a steel rod by hand among other heavy weight feats, what is his exact power set in the movie?

(I thought Ben got revived by the FF basically breaking into Heaven and reviving him. Not sure about the other thing though.)
As it is, I’ve been aware that Marvel is all about favoring the FF despite all the horrible movies they’ve inflicted on them even outside of the usual “Status Quo is God”. I mean, they basically outright ignored what Doom did in the Unthinkable arc, though I’ll grant that was obviously going to be divisive anyway, among other things that greatly benefit the FF at the expense of everyone else, like ignoring that Reed was equally a monster–if not more so–than Tony during Civil War and yet having Reed never have to make up for that while Tony rightfully had to serve a lot of penance (that arguably still wasn’t enough).
And, yeah, prophecies don’t mean anything in comic book most of the times considering how many bad futures there are, though that isn’t too surprising when the Earth or even large sections of the galaxy, if not the universe, have the potential to get destroyed or otherwise ravaged on an almost daily basis.
[details=Spoiler]It seemed like pretty much everyone that underwent Ajax’s “treatment” gained some degree of super strength and durability, even Wade himself; it’s just that this is the most apparent with Angel Dust and her being strong enough to take on Colossus surprisingly evenly. So that helps compensate for inability to feel pain and inadvertently injuring himself through mundane means, especially since he doesn’t heal all that much faster than an other normal person, as evidenced by Angel Dust having to fix his shoulder.
In addition to that, he clearly still has his enhanced reflexes since he dodged bullets that Wade shot at him while on a motorcycle in response to them being fired. It’s also part of the reason why he was kicking Wade’s ass so badly the first time they fought even after Wade had ambushed him and was still going pretty even with him towards the end despite the fact that his shoulder was still technically injured.
The only power the comic book version that had that we didn’t really see–given that “metallic body armor” doesn’t count as an actual power or ability in this instance–was any above average intellectual deductive abilities, in part because he thought Wade was dead for the majority of the movie and Wade constantly wearing the mask as Deadpool and basically killing all of Ajax’s contacts didn’t really give Ajax a chance to figure it out before the “reveal”.[/details]
Spoiler
It’s probably just one those “movie” things we’re supposed to overlook, though it also arguably depends on what his swords are made out of in this movie. Pretty sure he would have mentioned if they were made of adamantium though, so…shrug?
Well there’s also the other instance where the glass broke from an explosion. Now I know having pressure difference pushing and breaking the glass is different than giant steel debris crushing on the glass, but it’s just seemed like the durability of the glass was enhanced for just that one scene.
The problem with Hope is that she ends up being just Jean Grey 2.0 despite having what should be an interesting power set. Now that we have teen Jean, she’s become redundant.
[details=Spoiler]
TBH I’d say that even if the glass hadn’t held out the metal bars were meant to look like they could act as a roll cage.
Also the circle is a pretty strong structure, think of a tire on a lorry, they can handle a shitton of weight but if they run over something sharp it’s penetrated easily.
Not sure if this would work (probably not) but I consider it at least more believable than when Indiana Jones hid in a fridge to tank a nuke exploding[/details]
616 Deadpool is unique because he’s been cursed with immortality by Thanos (simply because Death has the hots for him). So things that would kill a regular person with healing factor don’t affect Wade.
Current 616 rules on healing factor seem to state that cutting a person with healing factor’s head off would be enough to kill them (at least that’s what X-23 seems to imply, and she already has a healing factor that’s stronger than her predecessor).
He does actually, the few moments of sanity he still has he fully knows the Lazarus Pit takes what little bit of sanity he has left and he often ponders if he would have been better off dead. Part of the reason he wants a male successor so bad is because he wants to die.
