About to see it now. Hoping it’s as exciting as advertised. Last big experience I had with the character is comic in the 90s when he had a crush on Banshee’s daughter.
I mean, it would have been pretty easy for even a team like this to focus purely on the action and comedy and just have the romantic backstory as just there, and people would still love the movie. However it’s obvious that they took alot more care in doing those scenes.
Yeah, but what would be the chances of shit like that making it into a Deadpool movie? Typically I’d say not very high, they would have just made it a stupid action movie.
Just finished the midnight screening. Looks like I don’t won’t be using a backup plan coz my girl loved the movie. She was actually tired from work and had to bring coffee but I was surprised she didn’t need it because there were no dull moments. This is the first time qe watched a “valentines movie”.
Ryan Reynolds was born for the role. Great opening sequence. I loved this colossus. Who said the yellow and black uniform won’t work in the movies? I didn’t like the x-men movies except for first class. I hope the guys who did deadpool takes over the x-men franchise.
Filipinos love Wham! and Chicago. Looks like I’ll be hearing them being played alot again for awhile.
(Magical hair is what we’re questioning? Of all the things that Japan inflicts on/gives us?)
Haha. Much like Archer, it would seem that I accidentally got my mother and my sister into the idea of seeing the movie since they’re seeing it right now. I only found after I called the former since neither of them tells me shit ahead of time unless I actually ask. The look on my face was basically equivalent to Shaft Agent’s avatar:
I’d be somewhat (more) annoyed if I hadn’t already told them that I was going to see it on Monday. Now I just have keep either of them from talking about it until then since they’re both horrible about accidentally spoiling stuff, especially my mother.
