Huh. I can see with they removed Ein, but why Gen Fu and Leon?
Gen Fu is just rumored because he was missing in a leaked list from the E3 game demo code some modder looked at. He was listed in the original leaked list from the Alpha Demo.
Leon, I honestly wish they kept, but he was originally a replacement of Bayman in DOA2 and the team has spent the next three games trying to separate the two from being costume swaps. He also is not listed in either of the leaked lists.
I predict they’ll announce two or three characters this month, and two or three next month. My prediction this month is Eliot, Brad, and Pai. But that’s pure speculation.

I want to see Brad Wong! I’ll probably main him as I use Shun in VF. Are they similar? I didn’t play DOA4 enough to remember the similarities.
They’re similar in that they’re drunk boxers. However, that’s about where the similarities end. There’s no ‘alcohol meter’ for Brad, and he’s typically been victim of too much recovery in his animations and little reason to go into stances. He’s basically pure single-hit mixup.
However, I do not know how he will play in DOA5 or what changes they make to him.
Anyone knows if they are gonna release a demo on psn/360 network. Would like to try out the game before I buy! So I know I dont waste money on a game I’m not gonna like.
Mortal Kombat 9 got a demo. I played that game and did not like it. The demo saved me alot of money.
Marvel Vs Capcom did not have a demo. I ended up buying the game just to hate it 1 day later. Not a fan of MVC sorry! SFXTEKKEN has no demo. I bought it only to hate it.

I know that Playstation Allstars will have open beta for playstation users.
I dont live in USA so I cant attend those crazy events where there are DOA5 demos. Release date is near too so a demo would be nice before deciding on to buy the game.
At this time there were no announcements of a demo coming to XBL/PSN.
However, there are a few events that will have a near finished game build at some tournament and game events where I’m sure you’ll be able to try it out. These include GVN Summer Jam 6 (Philadelphia, PA), IPL5 I’m a Fighter Chapmionships (San Mateo, CA), and Gamescom.
Additionally, you could give it a try at any tournament event that is running the game post release such as Season’s Beatings (Ohio) and North East Championships (Philadelphia).

Yes, this is true. However, it should be said that the current build of the game is very different from that alpha demo packaged with Ninja Gaiden 3. It’s not a fair representation of the final game.

Yes to whoever asked about the demo, Xbox live requires a demo of the game so i imagine psn will get one for fair compensation.

yeah about the alpha demo…it was more for community feedback test then an actual representation. How many builds been added since?
It only requires a demo for XBLA titles. Disc based titles aren’t required to have a demo.

With all of the paid DLC around these days I really appreciate them still giving us so many free alt customes and even the old hair style options.
Still, I wish they’d hurry it up and reveal the last characters already.
