Dead or Alive 5

I think if we get a new Tobal, Ono should produce and direct it.

I guarantee that he’ll do the series justice.

Your sense of humor gets better with time.

Good, we’ll get more doujins

Don’t even… you’ll only make us sad when we realize that it’s not going to happen anytime soon.

YES TOBAL 3. The world needs more Mary Ivanskova (or whatever her name was). Bitch was a hottie.

Here’s a youtube channel with some Tobal 2 matches. good matches are hard as fuck to find:

Pink Dinosaur looks like he kinda sucks lol

You guys know that we’re more likely to have a Bloody Roar 5 than a Tobal 3, but that’s just my speculation.

Back on topic: I am truly hopeful that we’ll actually see some info on DOA5 this E3, but it looks like that it’s either now or never, and in a few days, it’s the moment of truth. All I want to see is a superior version of DOA4 with an enormous amount of unlockable content, and that is one of the principles of the DOA series.

^ No unlockable content. It was bad enough trying to beat that crystal clone 100 times while my X-box kept freezing up. Give me that stuff for free or let me buy it at a reasonable price.

The series sucked even with Itagaki and the old team!

Yeah, because obviously you can only have good gameplay or good presentation, you can never have both. Dumbass. Go play some kiddie shit on the wii and shut your bitch ass the fuck up.

those matches are actually on the game disc so they’re not high level. Nico video only has a few matches of versus play.

To my knowledge, there is no video of high level play for this game.

I keep crossing my fingers hoping that we will see this game come up into the random tourney game bracket sooner or later. Since the game never came out in the US, its gone unnoticed and I think the game is retarded god like.

In terms of movement tobal 2 allows more universal movement than t6\vf5 and no game to this day has managed to do throws better than tobal 2. Every throw system ever made is ass by comparison.

Well there are boobs at least lol.

How does them being on the game disc keep them from being high level?

How can you say that if videos are scarce? In that case (since you supposedly know what high level play looks like) you should record and upload videos and show people your high level matches.

you can have your unlockable content… at $5 a piece.

contrary to the general concensus of doa i enjoyed the doa series, and i wouldnt mind if doa 5 comes, wishing for a ps3 version cuz if is exclusive for x360 is a no buy for me then

Damn right. SRK hates games that look good, regardless of the gameplay. DOA4, SF3, SF4, Blazblue…all solid, fun games that SRK hates.

They’ll keep their packaged MUGEN games like CVS2 thanks.

lol thats pretty simple. Since the game was released with those demo versions, it means that the depth of the game was yet to be truly explored. There are a lot of basic mechanics like maintaining run and better oki setups that aren’t present on these clips.

I think vf4EVO was released on ps2, not pure vf4. So a majority of these VF tactics you see on these clips are actually still present on VF4 vanilla. vf4EVO was just a small visual update and kept the engine in tact.

The game was first released in arcades on the NAOMI 2 board in 2001. A port of the game, as well as that of Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution under the budget-priced “Greatest Hits” label, appeared on the Sony PlayStation 2 in 2002 and 2003, respectively.

when you have 2 years of tournaments going on and keep the game pretty much the same, its easy to release high level footage with the game when it goes console.

no comp here to really show off the game properly. I could just beat down my scrubby friends that play. IMO, it takes 2 people to show off high level in this game since technig throws and maintaining run are fundamentals for this series.

You know what’s strange? Every news article about DOA5 made this year have been all just rumors, there’s STILL no confirmation whether or not this game is even in development. If it’s not at E3, that’s the last we’ll hear from it for a very long time. After five years of being in limbo, DOA fans certainly deserve another installment, but hearing that the game has been removed from the site really has dimmed our hopes in seeing it there this year.

i hope this game is real and good
