Speaking of nostalgia, Batman '66 was a lot of fun. Just like the TV show. They made the mayor of Gotham City African American, probably to make up for them not using Eartha Kitt as Catwoman but Julie Newmar instead lol! Julie was my favorite of the three Catwomen the series had personally.

Yeah, that was the most boring opening to a crossover I have ever read. What was up with all the fake Bendis style dialog? Hell what was up with all the dialog, PERIOD? A crossover where no one gets punched in the face in issue one? AW HELL NAH! I like dumb ass crossovers but this was the wrong kind of dumb. Or I’m a different kind of dumb? Lol man I dunno but I’m out of this series.

Still have the Joker book and the new Batman Black & White series to look forward to today. Gotta say the Villains 3D covers are hella pretty.

It’s not the first time DC’s editors have screwed around with the creators and the final product since the New 52 began. It’s kind of been a pattern of how they operate now. Their comics aren’t really creator-driven anymore. I don’t even think I would call them character-driven. For the past couple years, DC’s best drama has been less about the stories in their comics and more about the stories that take place behind the scenes of the people who make the comics.
