More or less, why I said “back to” when describing it. The right-wing, tough talking more controversial figure was fun and dynamic to me.
AYO - Not sure about drops but some comics are borderline, on the chopping block or I’m waiting for a few more issues to decide.
The books I’m 100% sticking with are Justice League, Batman & Robin and Nightwing.
Everything else is wait and see right now.
My top four if i only had the cash for them would be: Batman, JLI, Resurrection Man, and Wonder Woman. Need to make a list of what I am getting next week.

In all fairness I kind of agree, it was handle immaturely.
I remember meeting Brubaker at a signing event back around 2003 or 2004 or so, when he was almost finishing up his run on Catwoman. One of the subplots of the latter part of his run involved a burgeoning romance between Batman and Catwoman, and in one of the issues they spent the night together, although nothing was shown on-panel. Someone asked Brubaker if Batman and Catwoman had sex, and Brubaker was like, “I’m not allowed to portray Batman having sex, so even though in my mind they had sex, I can only imply on the page.”
There’s something to be said for using subtlety. It’s kinda demoralizing to see how far Catwoman has fallen from the glory days of Brubaker, COOKE, Cameron Stewart, Sean Phillips, et al. to the likes of friggin’ Judd the Dud Winick.
This guy gave Red Hood and the Outlaws 0 Stars lol! I understand there is a lot of people pissed about Slutfire but really? I liked it Roy and Jason were funny, I think Starfire will become a character not just tool for sex, also the Bat logo on Red Hood’s chest is awesome imo, as a big red middle finger to his past
It certainly doesnt deserve a 0…3/5 was rating for it. As for sex appeal, wish it a bit more subtle.

I think I might drop it on that alone, plus I need to lighten my load so to speak. While I liked Jason’s solo banter, all of them together felt weird. Though I admit the TnA and Explosions were fun in a dumb way and comics shouldn’t all be serious, I just don’t think it’s my thing overall. Besides I got JLI for funny shenanigans.
Jeez, I knew DC was getting a reboot but not like that. It’s weird seeing Catwoman and Batman having sex, reminds me of those fake porno pictures people make of cartoon characters on the net.
I am disappointed that they are portraying Catwoman that way. I loved the way they rebooted her in 2004 as that cool, noir inspired crime fighter with a kickass new costume.
If they’re going to put women in provocative poses like that, they need to some of the men in thongs as well, but we all know that’s not happening. What’s Bat Girl up to these days? Is Bat Woman still around as well?

I really wish Morrison’s new Batman status quo had gotten a few years under its belt at least. It feels like such a waste to just sweep his multi-year project off the face of the universe. I don’t even understand how Leviathan is going to work with the nuDCU
It probably won’t, Morrison will have a Leviathan Inc. special in December, and will conclude Batman, Inc. in 2012 which will wrap up all he’s been working on since going to Batman…or so they told us, kind of wait and see if that will still be true you know.
