Picked up Ressurection Man and Suicide Squad at my other store, they lacked Red Lanterns as well. Thought about Stormwatch and Grifter but gave them a pass.
EDIT: Damn I really liked Rez Man, tried to find a trade on the OG series but alas none, some single issues though. Uhg, I want to get them…also reminded me to get Hitman sometime, he could have been cool in the reboot. Well, him or Jack Starman.

Lol people hating that chunky Wall is gone, what the fuck. I’m sure the DC universe has liposuction as well. Suicide Squad wasn’t new reader friendly but overall it was a fun read even if it didn’t entirely make sense. We just jumped in the middle of it and are going along for the ride.

Suicide Squad and Red Lanterns were pretty blah, not enough meat to really make a judgment. Same with Demon Knights though it has my attention, love that cast.Got Ressurecion Man and OMAC waiting for me, can’t wait for those. But eriously, gimme Jason Todd and the Oulaws, hope it washes out alot of the dumb shit that he’s gone through recently.
Let me know how Captain Atom and Birds of Prey are, genuinely interested in them but money is tight right now. I’ll share my thoughts over the weekend like usual, should open up a comic review thread and not half ass them.
Yeah I have faith in Scott Snyder after his brilliant Detective Comics run and his quirky but spectacular Gates of Gotham. It seems his Batman arc will focus more on fleshing out the history (secret or not) of Gotham and I am thrilled of the possibilities.
Edit to Lord_Raptor: Rez Man was fun, I’ve become an instant fan of his character and just have this urge to read all his old stories. I don’t really understand why but he seems fun in the vein of how I find 90’s Starman and Preacher fun.
Red Hood I’m getting for artwork alone, at least the first issue. Ditto for Teen Titans. Lobdell, who I can take or leave most of the time has some good artists this time around.
