I think this all started based on a little jebaily hate and how he is balding. I havent really seen tampa play so i guess i cant really comment too much on them, all that’s known about them is that they never win anything.
All i see in this thread is a bunch of complaing and quiting from tampa, so that really explains to me why your city has never won anything. Atleast jebailey and his receding hairline have manned up and accepted any challenge.
I will personally money match jebailey for any amount up to $1k. After playing him at the florida gaming tournament i am conviced that this guy is just a bad player. For him to be the best in orlando or tampa i can conclude that this is free money for the entire daytona crew.

Daytona people: I will let this thread stay open as long as you use it for what it is for. DISCUSSION AND MATCHMAKING, not arguing and shit-talking. I was ecstatic, since making a new region thread was apparently against the rules, and yet someone deemed us worthy of having one. I’ve been trying to homegrow a scene in this area for about 4 years now, and the site hasn’t even been up for a year yet. To have you two threaten the legitimacy of my brainchild when it’s still a fucking baby is something that I’m not going to allow. I don’t care if I have zero authority to do so - I will see my site and intellectual property defended. Secondarily, you’d have to be a grade-A asshole to not think of the effects of your actions. If you don’t like this dude, or have beef, there’s a smarter way of settling this: try private messaging. Or an email. Or a chance encounter at a tournament that he’d be playing in. Money match him before or after, or do what I do, and just offer to practice - any competitor you face can and will cause you to elevate your level of proficiency in anything. But this is just mindless pissing in not one, but two surrounding areas’ respective bowl of Cheerios.
Does that make us look mature? Like we could handle, much less deserve, our own place on SRK? No. So, please stop. Again, we never played at my event. I ran the tournament and still have all the results and such. The only David I have from Daytona Beach, FL is a David Lewis.

We’ve got 12 tv’s set up at the beach house get together so far. This is a house i rent out to corporations for corporate events, mostly NASCAR, so it’s fully stocked. It’s going to be the best beach bash yet!
I’m thinking of removing melee and brawl for other games, there doesnt seem to be much interest here and the general crowd is far too young to be around so much alcohol.
Is there enough interest for HDR or mvc2?
