Look in the grand scheme of things we’re ALL nobodies…but it looks like Florida as a whole has a hungry scene so lets take advantage of this.
Ok we all got off on the wrong foot and things were said (which in a way is good cause it shows that people are competitive and won’t take shit from anyone said about their respective city) and shouldn’t have been said. Shit talk is great cause it builds hype, but this is getting out of hand.
To be completely honest I’m happy Daytona has a scene. I consider Daytona a part of Central Florida. So in essence we’re all one scene (Tampa, Orlando, Daytona, G’ville if there’s still people that play there, etc.) When South Fl travels, they refer to themselves as South FL, not Miami, not Broward, etc. We all need to follow this example.
Shit talk is great to a point (Hell, I wanna play SF4 now with all the hoopla) but when it turns into insults thats when it can hinder the scene. I’ll take this time right now to apologize for coming off like a dick. Someone talked bad about my city and I responded, end of story.
Real talk, I look forward to playing all of the daytona peeps and grow as a community!

To everyone posting from Daytona talking mad shit about Orlando, kindly SHUT THE FUCK UP. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m a Daytona boy through and through, but this shit just has to stop. When was the last tournament in Daytona worth a shit that didn’t have B-KIN or Project Storm attached to the name? I’m waiting…
Point is, Orlando has an established scene, whilst Daytona does not. And every time a Daytona native comes up and says ORL ain’t shit, that’s less of a chance that they’ll come through and play in our events. Therefore even less of a chance that WE get a grown-up scene of our own. A scene that B-Kin, and damn well near B-Kin alone, is trying to cultivate.
And to the Orlando guys, please treat the trolls as you would a troll in any other location: don’t feed them and move right along. Maybe that will bring us to a level of civility that this topic has all but escaped from. Can’t wait till Project Storm so I can see some competition, although I don’t know how well I’ll fare, seeing as these days I’m doing more as a Tournament Organizer that an actual entrant, although I get the feeling that Daytona’s crown prince of SF4 will be either me or another of the B-Kin guys.
P.S. Does anyone know if TvC will be played at PS3?

I spoke to Tiger before the last event kicked off. I don’t think that it will, but you never know - he seemed keen on seeing what kind of draw it would bring, and it brought more than MvC2 in our case. Looking forward, I’d expect it to be featured more often.
TvC is the genuine shit though, a lot of balance out of a series not known for it, especially considering it’s predecessor was amongst the most unbalanced of all time
The VS series isn’t known for massive balance, it’s known for massive cast (in most modern iterations). However, I have to agree that TvC:UAS hits pretty close to the sweet spot between “highly technical and finely balanced” and “just a shitload of fun.”
To all the players in your respected cities, stop all the bickering because it will lead us to nowhere! Hey shinshoryuken, TVC will be set on PS3, so get ready brotha!

Daytona actually has a long history of fighting games. We’re a great city with A LOT of great players.
I’m not going to post my entire fighting game resume on here like i’m some raving lunatic from tampa, but a lot of us have been around for a while.
We want to see the Daytona grow and blossom into even greater champions then they already are. The daytona crew here isnt trying to hate on orlando at all. It’s the opposite in fact, we want to help them get better.
If you want to wait until after we spank Orlando like fat girls to talk shit, then that’s fine, go finish knitting your sweater somewhere else. Orlando is going to be beaten so badly that the only thing they we be able to see is the sparkle of our sweet tans as we talk away into the sunset with their hard earned trick-money.

Hey guys we’re up to 12 tv’s for the beach house. There’s a problem with some of the models though as they lag a bit.
So if we do any mini tournaments next weekend we’ll just use the 6 good ones everyone was playing on last time.
We can put the lesser games on the laggy tv’s for people interested in them. Anyone interested in STHDR or blazblue? If anyone can bring a couple more consoles when they stop by that would be great.
It should be a great time, hopefully the weather improves a bit by then.
And I dont know about O-town but say what you just typed to Isaacs face, (while im around) and i will smack the shit out of you for him. Cause I have learned so much from that guy in many different games and he has helped me and given me will to keep playing at times where I wanted to quit. I wont think twice about defending his name. Also he is one of the greatest players in ST/HDR in USA along with Maverick. Making both of them the top ST/HDR players in FL. if you think HDR is a nobody game your a dumb fuck, cause that game basically created fighting games…

Also I am with Isaac. For you Daytona players who are serious about starting your scene, we all have to become one instead of building rivals with our own brothers… Daytonadave and Gou-sucka-dick can be excluded from that.
Typically I am the nicest guy ever, but im going to break that this one time. Daytona is terrrrrible. Playing these idiots is worse than jacking off into a vacuum while playing luigi’s mansion. You mother fuckers should stick to nascar and pokemon, seriously. Money matches in Daytona are payed off with nascar tickets and PvC pipe furniture.
