Me and a friend are thinking of organizing a game night at Stetson University (Deland) when classes start back up. Anybody here live close enough that they might be interested?
Even if we don’t get enough people to warrant having it at the school we could just do it at my place. Either way it’d have to be Friday or Saturday night.

I don’t mind jumpin in there every so often once you get things kicked off. Also, Bethune has game nights on Fridays (once classes start again), so you might wanna hit that up.
@huggy: How many people do you usually have at Bethune (playing FG’s) on Fridays? and your place Tuesdays? Cause like I said, I wouldn’t mind having a few peeps over to my place on Saturdays.
@tyger I also will request off. Im more for volunteering though!
@R2 I personally usually have to work both those nights. We normally have 8 or so people at Tuesday.
Usually at Bethune it gets pretty sizable, it depends really on what the membership of their gaming and anime club looks like. As for Tuesdays, it’s recently been getting around 8 or so, like Krist said. Last week sucked ass though, cuz everyone went to see the (apparently god-awful) Tekken movie. When it was at Burn, it was pretty decent size, but having to move it back to my apartment killed that off because my bedroom doesn’t quite have the space a bar does. It is being held at a new bar (for the time being anyway), but this place isn’t as great as Burn. Still, it’s a place, and there’s beer
After watching EVO 2k11, I’m definitely gonna start up a “Get Huggy’s Ass to EVO 2k12” fund… anyone else wanna go?

Sorry to everyone for not getting the game night together on Tuesday, my phone decided to not notify me that I actually had text messages, and since I didn’t hear anything from any of the regulars (until I checked my phone at 11:30 and yes, people did in fact text me at 5:00) I let it slide. Game Night next week should be at the same place, but I don’t know how I feel about the place, not really digging it. If anyone knows of a place we can get down at on a weekly basis that can house a decent amount of people, I’d be more than willing to venuechange.
Sorry man, I have work on Saturday, and I can’t quite afford to go up to Tally. Although, I’d be more than willing to go if someone wants to pony up gas money. (Sidenote: This goes for any tournament ever. You foot the bill to put gasoline in my extremely shit-tastical looking, but superbly driveable Solara, and I will get you there.)
Too bad I have a work related bowling tourney on Saturday (and I’m on my the CEO of my company’s team!). Wish I could make it up there.

Damn dude, I would love to make it up there, but that’s like 6 days away from SU:3. Granted, my “someone give me gas money” corollary still applies, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it… However, If HH is still a thing going on every week, I’ll try to stay overnight at my friends place up there so I can make both SU:3 and HH casuals on Sep.3&4
