ok so am I the only one who finds some of the things in the early SF4 build much better than the one we have now? For some reason alot of the animations look ALOT more fluid. not to mention some of the vs portrait art looks better

The lighting does look much cleaner and gives the character models a lot more pop. I wonder if it really is more bland in the version we play? I’ll have to load it up and really pay attention :slight_smile:

I don’t know about it playing smoother; it looks about the same to me after watching the Blanka / Viper match. Still not 3S smooth, that’s for sure.

I also like that they moved ultra down next to the super bar. It’s cleaner to me that way. Kind of makes me wish that BB would move the guard bar down between the super bars; if that were the case I might actually pay attention to the darn thing :sad:

That . . . was . . . AMAZING! The level 3 super just fits so perfectly; it’s such an in-joke and something I’d totally expect in TvC. I really can’t wait for the tourney this Saturday. Temmy, I’m coming for you, so watch out!

I dont know nathan I can tell a bit that the animations were smoother especially cause I play abel. He looks WAY different in that build better recovery and alot quicker , not to mention his Super is MUCH better Not to mention in that Ryu vs Guile match… when guile won the first round his win pose looks MUCH more fluid.

Karas + tekkaman blade = speed overload. I’m playin him and frank west. I was a little disappointed at the new characters but now that I’ve seen them in action I’m impressed. It makes me anxious to see what’s in store for the other 3 characters.

I pretty much say this every time I get a look at the new version of TvC, but damn it looks nice. The redone health bars and super meters are tight.

That being said, hell yeah Frank West. (Though I gotta be honest I’ve never played Dead Rising…) All I wanna see now is Tekkaman Blade vs Zero, but I won’t be too impatient with excitement to see the new characters.

Frank looks pretty cool. I still don’t think I’ll be purchasing the game though, something tells me that even with a U.S. release the game won’t be quite as popular (not saying it won’t have a community though). I do like some aspects of old SF4 better, but I’m really glad they changed the HUD display. I’m going to type up a gigantic post in a bit here regarding Seasons (mostly what to expect etc., and it’s mainly aimed at the new guys) I just need to eat something first.
