Sorry I didn’t get to play you in anything except GG Nathan. Please start learning that game. Especially sorry my brother didn’t show. He found something else to do with friends of his. He’s really jazzed about the Tetris Attack at some point though. I was going to play you in it myself, but you looked like you were doing ok not playing it. I’m always game for it whenever though, so don’t hesitate to ask me. If you don’t have Puzzle League for DS, I suggest you get it. It’s like Tetris Attack with more modes and options, but none of the awesome kooky characters. I’d still rather play Tetris Attack for vs, but Puzzle League has it beat for extras and online play.
Arcade Legends should have puzzle game tournaments. Puyo Puyo, Tetris, and Tetris Attack/Panel de Pon/Puzzle League are all good games that I’m terrible at. Puzzle Fighter is not a good game.
I consider myself decent at Puzzle games. Puyo Puyo, BakuBaku Animal especially. I agree, Puzzle Fighter is un-balanced like a mofo. Set drop strings based on characters is so lame.
Anyhow, if anyone is a good puzzle fighter (get it…I know lame), you need to play Brandon aka Soul Bushido… dude is a monster.

Fred, you of all people shouldn’t be surprised at Arcs character design…
Glad they’re adding another char though, and new moves potentially, and attempting to rebalance things. It’s not a BADLY balanced game, but if you can make the top three work harder for their awesomeness it’ll be pretty close being one of the most balanced games out imo.

I’ll try to show up Thursday, but I don’t think it’s looking great. I want to try GG out on stick finally…maybe it is easier and will be more like a VF transition where I can do different things on stick then I can on pad.
Really wish AL was even just twenty minutes closer though…cause I’d go there everyday just to play Slash…

I don’t hear anyone crying about Arakune. I think it’s about damn time they made the worst character in the game good for once. That way Ross you can have more ground options for him. Now you won’t feel as if you have to fight the whole world. The world will be fighting you!
Good games indeed my good sir. U were getting ur stuff down w/ Anna pretty well. I was liking how u were using Anna’s new move ss&3 a lot. Very nice indeed. Try 2 also work in some of her other new moves, like b&4, f&2,3, & f&2&3. All those moves are juice 4 sure:
B&4: Excellent move indeed in terms of mixup, poking, & tracking ur opponent. It’s an universal tracking move, it’s mid, it’s safe on block, it leads to great mix-up after it hits, plus it’s relatively quick to somewhere around 12 to 14 frames. Abuse the shit out of this move if ur an Anna player.
F&2,3: Another great move in Anna’s arsenal. It’s a 2-hit, high to mid string. It’s a NC (Natural Combo), it’s safe on block, plus it’s 12 frames, so it’s an excellent move 2 use as a Punisher for Unsafe moves that are -12 frames unsafe.
F&2&3: Ah Yes! The Ass/Hip Check move. Such a sweet move & probably my favorite new move that she has. This is great to use when u want 2 end ur wall combo. I believe this move is 14 or 15 frames, so if u want to punish something that is unsafe between -14 or -15 frames, this will be the move to do it. However, don’t throw that shit out, b/c it is unsafe in of itself. I know if I’m Lili, I can for sure punish it w/ 1&2. I may have to check & see if I can punish it even more w/ a Hop-Kick.

Fred, that was Litchi getting bit by the fish, so unless the game’s 3 or 4 players, or Arakune has assists now, I doubt Dizzy is in it. Arakune just stole her fish. She must have “been absorbed.”
