All I know about Last Blade 2 is it’s the game Hibiki comes from…and it’s supposed to be pretty awesome.
I’d love a GG 2 vs 2. I’m of the vein that all the side tournies after the ranbats should be team tournies of some sort…but then it’s ironic cause I doubt I could ever find a teammate.
Anyway, I’d suggest making the side tournaments either one of the major games people are playing (SF4, BB) or doing a side tourney on one of the lesser games (3rd, GG, Smash, STHD)
Probably, but not because the game is bad…but because it was rushed out and not fleshed out like it should’ve been. SNK wanted to compete with Capcom and Arcs…and uh, they put out an overpriced product with 4 stages, no arcade mode and a 3rd of the cast missing.
And I only say this cause the game IS fun to play, but it’s obviously an unfinished product.
Odds are 95% in favor of me not having any spots open. I’ll find out for sure tomorrow evening, and I’ll let you know if the spot opens up
I think I’ve heard of Last Blade, but it doesn’t much excite me.
Wow! That’s a lot of tourneys; good stuff. I would like: SFIV 2v2 or more, BB 2v2, MvC2 low-tier only tourney, GG, 3S 2v2 or more, KOFXII.
I will continue to play KOFXII with anyone who wants to. I haven’t tried the online lately, so I don’t know if they’ve really fixed it (last I played it was crap).
I’ve had my hotel room reserved since Ghaleon posted the SB4 thread. It’s at the Red Roof; deluxe 2 full bed. I’ve got at least two other people practically guaranteed to be rooming with me, but am still in search of some people who are for sure going.
I’ve got to wait on confirmation for two other people, but if you’re looking to just bring yourself and another person I would see no reason why six-seven people (max!) couldn’t fit in the room.

If you’re free Thursday evening or Friday morning/afternoon, Lee, I would gladly train up some BB/SFIV with you. Also, if you’re free tomorrow evening I’m going to be heading up to Aaron/Gabe’s place for SFIV (and prolly Marvel, honestly); if you’re interested. Others are of course welcome tomorrow, you just might have to drive yourself to my home, and then I drive up to Englewood. For the interested, I’ll probably be leaving around 5:30 - 6.
Daigo vs. Wong as the main event at SB4 was announced like right after Evo when Ghaleon said “I don’t want to spoil any surprises but let’s just say there might be a rematch of the finals at Evo at SB4”.
But anyways, if I can still walk (legs are getting pretty bad) and Adam is still willing to take me, I am definitely also hype.
LB2 isn’t that expensive so I may just get it anyway. Can’t hurt to have some variety in the fighters we have. If I did get an Alpha it would be Alpha 2. Probably not anytime soon since I just got Jojo’s, ST and now working on getting that disc for 3s. If one comes my way for the right price, though, I’d certainly pick it up in a heartbeat. lb2 is allsome. Rage of the dragons is way too fun tho i kno alot of ppl hate it. probably cuz they dont kno how to play it! A3>A2 imo. I really think alpha 3 is more balanced than a2. A3 is actually a great drinking game…kinda like how true lies for genesis is a drinking game. Everytime you sea Tom Arnold you have to drink. “Harry thats notwhat your supposed to do!”
And I agree with Yetti. A3>>>A2. It’s not as BALANCED, but it’s much more polished. That game needs a rerelease that makes X and A-ism as good as V. After that it’s all gravy.
And Ross, yeah I got you if I go. Just don’t hold your breath.
