Am I the only one here who thinks Vent (from Megaman ZX) would’ve been a better addition than Zero in MVC3? Considering he has powers of X, Zero, AND Axl. We would’ve all been happy ^____^
He isn’t really popular enough to get in, I’d think, but I’m sure he’d make a very interesting character when it comes to his playstyle, having a command stationary dodge, mashable, cancellable into sweeps or supers.

That’s not Firebrand. That’s a Red Arremer.
You do realize that in Japan, Firebrand = Red Arreemer. The dude in Gargoyle’s Quest/Demon’s Crest is just your regular, run of the mill Red Arreemer that becomes a legendary Red Arreemer. They just named him for the US version. He’s not heroic. He’s not a good character. He’ll still screw things up for Arthur and be a general nuisance.

Nope, you’re wrong. In Japan Firebrand is named Red Arremer, but he’s still a specific Red Arremer. The same Red Arremer that stars in each of the Gargoyle’s Quest games. The Red Arremers are a whole race, and Firebrand is a special one who saves the demon world a few times. The species is antagonistic, but Firebrand is definitely a hero. And the hero Firebrand wasn’t attacking Arthur in GnG, because if he was he’d be dead.
Up until the second part of the third sentence, we’re saying the same thing. He’s a specific one (unnamed in Japan, named in the US) that stars in his own series. Other than that, it’s whether or not he’s malevolent or just a heroic dick (because being a dick seems like a racial trait for them).
I suppose that’s fair. Even a heroic dick is still a good guy though. I mean he’s more of a hero than say MODOK or Wesker.
