im sorry but what is team watts? and i black heart used as main or simplys just an assist? ( )
Watts-Blackheart/Sentinel/Capcom. I always thought it was Blackheart/Sentinel/Cable:cool:
yea i am a big BH fan
i was just curious tho but , does āā'it āā have a guard break?
also wut about the move dark thunder does it have any prioty??
Well, actually Iāve been able to guard break sometimes by throwing out an Inferno, (they block it obviously) cancelling into HoD. (which they eat) The timing is tricky and odd things may happen. (ie the Inferno or HoD goes off-screen) Plus, with all the push-blocking Magneto and Cable players escaping your chip-bullshit and punishing your hapless ass, throwing Infernoās can be very, VERY risky. (although sometimes thatās what this game is all about)
Another guard break Iāve tried before (and yeah itās ghetto I know) is to just call your Capcom at the right time. If he blocks, Inferno-HoD that shit. If he takes the Capcom hit, the Inferno-HoD will obviously connect. If he knows how to push-blockā¦ cry for Mommy.
On another note, Dark Thunder is utter trash. Donāt incorporate it into your game plan.:lame:
Actually, there is a good purpose for dark thunder. Namely, to substitute it for inferno in throwing HOD if youāre not in the corner hitting Sentinel with BH/Commando. Because of Sentinelās weight and the way he flies across the screen from a Commando hit, infernos will basically never hit him off of Commando if heās not in the corner. So get the altitude right on the hit and do DT/HOD instead. Gets you a nice āWowā factor and it actually works, too. Although you do have to make sure Sentinelās pretty low to the ground because if itās too high up the DT will whiff.
Yes, Watts = BH/Sentinel/Commando. In most matchups that doesnāt involve Storm, thatās usually the best order to use it in.
Dang you took the words right outta my mouth with the DT/HOD adviceā¦ There is also a GB into JD using the DT but the setup is tricky and involves the person being tricked into pushblocking. Itās 4:30 in the morning though and Iām too lazy to type out how that works.
On another noteā¦it IS possible to connect an inferno from commandoās assist on Sent (or any other heavy character), and you can even get the juggle affect bringing endless possibilities, but you have to do the inferno as immediately after the second lk. Timing is a little tricky I guess, and often not worth the risk but itās nothing that some time in the training mode canāt fix.
Thereās a ghetto GBI do sometimes. Itās a jumping fierce. If they block AND fall, I do a jabx2 xx inf xxHOD. Sometimes I throw commando in there.
The thing about GBs is that you canāt just set the cpu to block all and normal jump. Real GBs need something more. You must give the opponent a chance to āunblockā in order for a GB to work. Thatās why training mode Dark thunkder xx HOD works, but doesnāt on a real person. They never are given a opportunity to āunblockā.
Sorry BH-king, my webspace privās arent infiniteā¦
Stilt: I throw 'em out as I see which angle is best. If they are far in front of me, then itās RH. If they are on my level, itās fierce. After rewatching my matches, I think I chose well.
Itās all good bro, thanks for the thought (thumbs up)
Just some adviceā¦hope itās helpfulā¦instead of the j.FP do a j.jab when youāre on your way down from a jump so that the jab hits them as they are just entering the screen. Unlike the FP it will GB them every time as long as they block the jab. Ofcourse this requires that the person is overly defensive but Iāve noticed that as long as you donāt have Cyc as an assist, most people will come in blocking b/c they donāt know of this GB.
wut is the best way to avoid rush down by magz and storm if ur BH, wut i usuallydo is throw pigsā¦but @ times if i call assist out i get snaped back and well u know where that goesā¦
zup!
hey wat up, anyway im a little pissed off at people specialy blackheart players who say that if you use the fierce and roundhouse demons on a regular basis in your game, you simply SUCK. First of all that is not so, as matter of fact the reason that all of us took a look at blackheart when mvc2 came out was because of its demons, no other character in the game has itās abilities. Second of all i play at chinatown in new york, For those of you who donāt know what im talking about, Chinatown is where Justin Wong, Sanford, Desmond and i think iāve also seen juicy G. play at ( im not too sure on juicy G.). And iāve played against all of those guys, Specialy justin, he is simply a beast and hope that he does not pick mags. because you wont last 10 seconds.
Anyway, the only way iāve found to defend myself against these guys is by super jumping and throwing Rh. demons. Specially against mags, if sanford has mags. you canāt normal jump and do a poking game, he wonāt give you a chance. The only way is to super jump throw rh demons but instead of dashing back dash foward then come down and poke the hell out of mags. Thats is the only way you can defend your self against mags, you canāt play a mid-air game with mags.
Also to further piss-off a lot of you guys, one of the best teams that you can have blackheart in is team Scrub III. This team consist of Blackheart, Cable and Cyclops, this team is played by some already, i just wanted to give the team a name. The reason i think this team prevails over all the other blackheart team is beacuse in this team you have mobility, speed, defense, offense, cheese and you can stall with this team. I Know that many of you think that capcom give blakheart better protection , but when it counts( like aginst mags, storm, or cable) capcom fails to meet the hype. Yes, capcom is one of the best if not the best anti-air in the game but blackheart needs mobility as well as defense capcom does not offer that to blackheart. With cyclops i rushdown
a lot of people, i do a bunch of combos(mainly 3-5 hits) that do not do much damage but they count and give me some respect in the arcade instead of staying stationary and calling capcom all day trying to get them hit by capcom to HOD them. So try this team to see wat im talking bout.
hmmmm i dunno, it actually depends to how its being used.
some people at my local arcade ātryā to play with him, and simply just super jump FK demons all day, throwing them out every chance they get and being mindless about it too.
goota have a game plan with those demons. first off black heart should be used as zoning character everyone knows that. his FP demons should be used to take away thier mobilty which can be used as an offense or defenseā¦ and FK demons should be used to cover assists.
just about anyone can pick him up and super jump throw demons all day, but thats just going to get you killed. experienced players use those demons to get what they want in an effeiceint manner. zoning, air control, protecting assist, finding an opening for a kill. (like DHCing off a FK demon to say storms hail, or sentās super)
Just depends to how the demons are being used thats all.
thanx for the tips of the demons now i got the idea of avoiding rush down
just to mention, around my area alot of random ppl pick BH Jjust for the assist, and well as u guys may know it aint that good ā¦
well i am curious wut would BH be?
low tier?
cuz if he is then he sure as hell is the best low tierā¦
black hearts top tier i believe. theres the god tier which is the big four, and then hes somewhere in the list after that. but hes not on the middle nor low tier.
joedoe, you say interesting things, but they donāt jive with my experienceā¦
Well, they do somewhat, but if youāre a BH player, you should understand. The demons are a big part of BHās game, yes, but if they are navigated around, Blackheart is very vulnerable. Neither jumping demon attack has an actual physical attack behind it (nor does c.rh), and the attacks of s.fierce, s.rh and c.fierce are very short-ranged. The point of all this is, if the player navigates around your demons, BH gets raped.
SJ. and throwing roundhouse demons on Magneto is a fast way to die. Heāll just do stupid crossups. A better strategy is to just jumpback fierce. Before you retort saying he can do low roundhouse, Iāll retort saying you donāt HAVE to do jumpback fierce all the time, just make him think you will. If you block c.rh, thatās Magnetoās ass, and again you donāt HAVE to do jumpback fierce. You can choose to do roundhouse, in which case you snag Magneto and get a free combo, and you can even cancel the jumpback fierce with an airdash and avoid the slide entirely.
I believe Blackheart/Commando is better than Blackheart/Cyclops for a few reasons. Firstly, more raw damage is the obvious reason, but Commando also provides a vertical wall that supports BHās defense. You can do jumpback fierce and call Commando if you anticipate them hitting, into Inferno xx HOD pretty easily. Cyclops is more immediate, but comes in a space where most people who fight BH wonāt be in anyway. BH/Sent/Commando beats BH/Sent/Cyclops as far as good fights; on the other hand, BH/Cable/Cyke undeniably is a better team than BH/Cable/Commando. Anything BH/Cable/Cyke touches should dieā¦ call it a draw, I guess.
nvm, i found some vids.
i also noticed ina vid i saw a jap playing he used
BH doom son son,
and it did real well against a good magz, i saw em mostly doing wut u said dasrik
SJ FP, from wut i noticed the pigs are real good against magneto, for the fact that they follow you, and then with a rushing magnetoā¦u can bait themā¦and so on
hamm is that picture blackheart combined with āLoboā?
actully i dont know wut it is i just found it on the web and i thought it was funny,
but yea heres another picture of BH but if hes was a toy
hey do any of u guys know BH;;s air combo? with the grab???
iām not sure i think itās
