You might want to ask Stilt. He has more expieriance with those teams than I do. I’m sure he will be able to give you a detailed description on what to do in certain situations.

Shit, and here i thought that MVC2 was dying, yet i see new blood and interested in blackheart. LOL, well that is good i guess although i feel bad for the newbs cause you guys sure took a bad time to learn blackheart with the game being played right now. However it is refreshing to see players thinking outside the box(the big 4).
Really, the rebirth of the two threads here can be traced back to Dasrik posting, a old school pro at BH, If more pro’s or older more experianced players would post in various forums more, this forum would be alot more busy.
I guess they are either out of fighters or don’t feel like repeating themselves with stuff they might have answered before. I don’t know.

ok, Parryperson or any other newb that needs help with blackheart, post your question and i’ll try to see if i can help. I have been playing with blackheart for some years now, and i have played the best in the game with my blackheart so i may be able to give you some pointers here and there. And before i forget always remeber to give your props. to dasrik and stilt. cause ALL OF US have benefitted from their advice at some point in our game. Anyways, have any Q’s post it i’ll check on the thread on a regular basis to see wat’s up.

Are you the kid I teamed up with at T6 for the team tournament. If I remember correctly we placed third right?
CoosCoos, I have played a fair number of times against that team. So if you are having problems i’ll give you two tips for defeating that team. One is to start with blackheart and don’t try to be offensive or run like a b****. the purpose of blackheart is to gather meter, once you get about 4 bars switch in sentinel and be offensive as hell. When they bring in cable, you bring blackheart and be very careful when playing cable. Which comes in to my second tip, defeating cable is very simple you just got to stay close to him at all times , since he doesn’ have capcom covering his ass in ROWTRON cable is nothing compare to blackheart. Your job with blackheart is to poke cable into capcom XXHOD. Though watch out for sentinel’s punch i’ve been caught several times. But in all Rowtrron doesn’t have anything on team Watts.
What is my gameplan with Doom/BH/Commando

This is logical because a blocked HOD has too much lag to follow up to another block super string. So using the piggy super that has little lag you can follow up by calling drones again right after then inferno xx HOD for a shit load of chip.
Watts is the best bh team imo

Doom/BH/Commando serves as a “Team Scrub” substitute for the Blackheart player. If you’re in the “do absolutely nothing unnecessary” mindset, it counters the “actual” Team Scrub, so it’s a good way to discipline yourself.
The gameplan is, do one iteration of the trap, followed by an attempt to attack the opponent. Repeat til you have two meters, then bring in Blackheart somehow and do his keepaway pattern. Reset summed it up pretty nicely. Any deviations in the plan are up to you as an individual.
Basically, if you lose with Doom/BH against generic comp, it’s because you tried to do too much.
