this is’t really a new techinique thougth this is just a variation of an older thechnique in mlee called fox-trot

Not really, Foxtrot was strictly a movement technique, similar to a wavedash. This is all about using a dash attack from a neutral position.

look im not gonna argue because that gets people nowhere i dont give a shit waht a techinique is called as long as it works and i’ve been using fox-trot as soon as the game came out, but just to humor me do this. Tap foward to a dash and immedailty press a and then tap foward and press c-stick down record the results and make up your own dam minds

But Alpha is a better name for a cancel as opposed to DLX. Alpha is universally recognized. It’s a letter in the Greek alphabet, a robot in various seasons of the Power Rangers, the subtitle of an SF game, etc. DLX… yeah who the fuck cares about that. :looney:

Depends on the character really. ZSS for example has an awesome dash attack.

Yeah that is what I call them too. Instant Dash Attacks or IDA’s for short.

Still they will be AKA Alpha Cancels for the sheer hilariousness of it.
