I love when he throws out Sword Storm at the very end when Doom is about to die and Vergil just stops trying to fight. Heâs like âlol the fuck you gonna do about this?â

I dont know guysâŚ, they should be able to play vergil well since hes supposed to be âsimpleâ, but he was always getting killed in one combo. This video made me worried.
no one there except Marn and Max are Dante players so Vergil was probably completely new to them. I wouldnât worry too much just yet. by Tuesday, if we donât find something within the next couple of weeks/months to make Vergilâs approach safe, THEN we can start worrying.
Wow, that was pretty ridiculous, almost like tug of war, Task wiped out 2/3 of Vergilâs team, and Vergil returned the favor 50% more effectivelyâŚ

Badass combos, especially the last one, nice to see you can add a Judgment cut imbetween Maxâs combo too, with Round trip even more. Also I was planning to do that sword/walk juggle for a while just for style lol.
So much for him being a âboringâ version of Dante that people tried to make him out to be.

Well to be fair@nitro I think thatâs the furthest you can go with Vergil combo wise just cause of his moveset. Im sure there are some sick 2 bar style combos, but those probably wonât be used in matches much due to the horrible dmg scaling. (I will though :D:D, but that comes back to meter for fun) sickkkk combos

Yea he looks crazy, although I have Vergil second due to me wanting to use him with assists to make him even deadlier. With swords active its already hard to block and IDK how fast XF3 makes him, but Id like an assist for him. Also what about air keep-away vs him he got nothing so hm. Def. not putting him first tho but I like the DT Tag out strat. now. + I can still do that trick from 2nd too =D.
Although not everyone has been sold about Vergil being an instant winner. Jago says he wonât be higher than bottom A, Seth Killian said he wonât be top either but he was probably joking. Everything done on stream so far is unsafe too id imagine, no one was covering with teles/cuts or assists.
Saw the name Isedelicaâs combo video on Event hubs front pageâŚI didnât think the wait could feel longer T_T. I wonder if a few of those combos are going to be the new bnbs the way the Iseâs combo video for dante more or less created the standard for Dante combos?
Loved the isadelica combos, thatâs the stylish I want. Still want to see Blistering Sword used in a combo though. I noticed he had a sort of loop going there with judgment cut and round trip for the last combo. Pretty awesome. Even found a way to combo off of Spiral Swords without scaling the combo too much. Canât wait 4 more daysâŚ
If anyone has the game can you inform me of the projectile durability of Vergilâs Round trip? Please and thanks in advance

The main problem people are having with this character is that nobodyâs seen or done anything to prove that he can be a solid point character. The only way people have found to make him work is dropping him in the back and turning meters on. If thatâs the only way to play Vergil safely then Iâm pretty close to dropping the character before the game even hits. Not interesting enough for me. The only way for him to be interesting for me if thatâs the only way to play him is to find a way to put him in DT first and tag him out so I can use his assists that look really good in DT.
Iâll definitely be working on making Vergilâs point game work and seeing what he can do to make his strings safer so I can make use of his DT assists. Hurpa Durpa spend all your resources Vergil looks mad boring and if thatâs the only way to play himâŚIâll gladly drop him after trying.
I wanted to make a serious team with him but the only team Iâll play him on at this point is one of my side Morrigan teams unless people find a way to make his point game work. A character that only works on point is one thing cuz you have to build the team around them and that makes things interesting. This Dark Wesker/Phoenix drop the guy in the back and barely use his assist so he can do random shit stuffâŚdonât like it.
Iâm all for Isadelica combos butâŚIâll just wait till I get to play.

I was thinking of playing Dorm, XX, Vergil, maybe hawkeye or a battery character to give vergil the good stuff for Xfactr lv3? Any suggestions?
