Vanilla Wolvie and Ultimate Vergil… Derp friends forever
Right now, I’m looking at Vergil, Wesker/Dante, and Ryu. But that also depends if Phantom Dance can still be DHC’d into Skinku Hadouken
Im thinking Wesker/Dante/Virgil for my salty runback team.
It definitely looked like it…you could see hawkeye blocking an attack as it came out so…

Yes!! Vergil says “I’m Motivated!” when activating Devil Trigger! All that is left is his worthy opponent line!
Gotta love the “I need more power!” line when he activates x-factor! I’m actually really impressed that Capcom added so many lines from DMC3. Makes me even more hyped to play Vergil!
On that, they made a huge mistake by not making his death line be “Ridiculous!” and if he dies to Dante “Dante…”
Another remarkable ones to be noted:
-“Come on” as taunt. “What’s wrong?” is also good.
-If I recall correctly “You are going down” is missing as well.
“You’re going down” is said when he activates Spiral Swords =)

Ahh, that’s right, forgot the swords. I had checked the Devil Trigger activation but I didn’t even remember about the swords activation. At least I was slightly right in hesitating when I referred to that quote. I knew I had it in my mind, I just couldn’t make out the moment he used it.
That only leaves the taunts and the death scream. Although I think Seth Killian used the Taunt when he demonstrated Vergil, and he didn’t say nothing like that, which is dumb. Pretty much like Dante’s taunt, such a lost potential.
Compared to Dante, though, Vergil retained many quotes. Essentially, the “Blast!”. Helm Breaker needed the “Begone!”, though.
I’m disappointed I can’t call people scum… or that they aren’t worthy as my opponent…
Let’s not forget the classic “KYRIE! KYR-”

Major dissapointment though that vergil remains silent or yells a little on DT just like dante =/
I would have loved if said “THIS IS THE EEEEEEENNNNNND” before Maximum Bubbles.
Or at least the DT worthy opponent quote…that shit gives me goosebumps every time i hear it D=
He doesn’t remain completely silent, you can hear him say “come on” when he calls an assist in DT mode in Max’s new vid. Not like he was talkative to begin with though.
Part of me wishes that they would give Vergil brand new lines instead of using every one of his memorable old ones.
Part of me wishes he wasnt so broken.
