I’m in, but I’m wondering which version of MAME we’re using by friday since I’m aware of new updates of MAME with online play.

EDIT: Actually, scratch that. After trying some Kaillera play, the lagged inputs make it a lot worse than I thought it would be.

So far doing this has helped decrease input delay in 3s-- both people turning their connections to excellent. Ive tried it with 2 different people and its about twice as good, not like the real thing, but much better. If this is for some reason not a good solution, than please say something…Im just trying to spread the word from my experiences.

Figured I might as well join the community seeing as I’ve become obsessed with 3S in the last few days. So does everyone just show up at the specified time to the server and that’s that? Never joined a tourney before but if that’s all I gotta do I’m in.

Also, I’m terrible at 3S, should that discourage me? Haha.

Thanks x100. Tried “excellent” for the first time just now and played a guy in Texas (consider my location) with the best connection I’ve had yet. My ping was 47 (it’s 31 in Anti3D), his 15. There were some lag spikes but overall it’s way better than I expected.

I’m just mad that you pigs didn’t make everyone aware of this sooner. Hardly anyone has their connection set to this! Ugh, all those 2-second early meaties for nothing. Blasphemy.
