yeah, basically the people who showed interest on the game is because they came to know about it by seeing videos on youtube or something like that.
The arcade machine never left japan (maybe only for the rest of asia), and it never got a console port until 6 years later of its arcade release, as a PSN game which again, never got released outside japan.
Any chances for the game developing some sort of scene on usa were doomed because of that, and the terrible netcode, plus the game it was released on a time where mvc3 and ssf4 where released and where the scene started to shift on a e-celebrity thing.

Hey all!
I know this game’s netcode sucks, but if anyone wants to play this anyway, add me:

PSN says your friendslist is full, so I can’t send a request. Oh well. My PSN ID is ShinHezekiah.

Also, thanks for noticing my random wiki changes, Yomipower. Where do those show up that you actually notice them?

Darn!
Sorry, I’m gonna clear my friends list tomorrow!
Really looking forward to play this online.

That second video made me remember that Elion/Bernhard/Nagar@Ice Blade is such a good team

I spent the whole time watching for an Elion/Bernhard/Nagar team because of your comment. Lol. I was impressed with the Mara players and their sick corner lockdown. Also enjoyed the instant overhead j.A during C skeleton to break their guard, which I’m pretty sure only works in the arcade version 'cause of the guard-switching glitch.

What’s Guard Switchign glitch?

It’s when you lock someone in blockstun with an overhead or low and then you hit the opponent with the opposite type of attack immediately after. It doesn’t matter if the player blocks the mixup correctly because the original arcade version has a glitch which forces you to stay in a specific guard position so long as you’re in blockstun. It was fixed in the console version.

EDIT: To be more specific, it’s not just using mixup. You need to use something like the Shining Bow or Talisman IB which hits your opponent multiple times while you’re free to move around and apply your own mixup. It also works for Mara’s C version skeleton because it hits 3 times and he can move while the second hit is active, which is when he uses the instant overhead j.A.

Haha my bad, the team was basically made up in the first few matches and it reminded me of how much the 3 benefit from ice blade and how well they cover eachothers matchups. Bernhard with half screen unblockable is so good. Ive been running Nsidor/Vritra/Nagar@Shining Bow whenever I play. Since they patched out guard-trapping, Talisman IB is pretty useless outside of like, Vritra corner hitconfirms into 236C xx IB, jump D, 214C, wall jump infinite

Does anyone know how to find this game on the PSN Japan store??? I can not read anything so I can not find it…

Any help??

so got this game and enjoying it so far. but cocern with how bad netcode is

netcode def ass

“Tear you to pieces”

So, a few months ago I decided to check out a few Japanese PSN games, including Dark Awake. Ramda slightly reminds me of Tusk from Killer Instinct 2. Selecting Chaos Breaker Sandra or Ramda don’t count towards the Barbarian’s Revenge Trophy.

When I was playing this game, I began noticing just how annoying two of those Dark Elves are. I could defeat The King Has No Name on my first try with just Vritra and Nagar. Haven’t experienced the netcode yet. The music is so-so, but a few really stand out for me. Come on! This game looks perfectly suited for an international release. I mean, you got Swordsmen, Dwarves, various creatures, and items that you can utilize.
