First of all, I live in Norway and not very likely to go anywhere near evo and vegas. Second, Daigo doesn’t hang out on xbox live playing random player matches in Europe. Third, he doesn’t seem to speak or write English. Well, none of them really.
Fourth, he got beaten to a pulp in 2x3 round matches by scrubby me.

It wasn’t a focus yo, it was an EX armor move. He just canceled into ultra before the move came out (hence absorbing the fireball hit and not using up meter). That IS sick, however!
Let me ask, will they ever do a Mago Concept Matches, Mago vs Nagoya Grandmasters or even Mago vs all top players, like how Daigo always has those events for him? It’s as if only Daigo gets that special privilege of having those types of matches for them & no other top notch pros gets those. I wonder why that’s the case. Is it simply because Daigo’s bigger than everyone else?

Saving your ultra it’s okay at best . I think he ultra juggle’d once and did 3 ultra through fireball and wasted 3 ultra he could have juggle’d and did not had the opportunity to use again .
It’s not because you don’t want to do ultra juggle that you’re the new god of the world.

On the other hand, Daigo’s spacing is just amazing. He just literally pushes you into the corner, stands just outside of his c.mk range and dances around, waiting for you to make a mistake. If you just sit there, he’ll walk into c.mk range, do it, walk out, throw a fireball, get you nervous and make you try to jump or poke him, knowing that you will whiff, and force a combo down your throat.
Having the talent and reaction to ultra through fireballs consistently isn’t something many rog players have. Play your shoto against a guy like keno or Taison and eat a full ultra for “zoning” with your fireballs and you’ll be scared shitless to throw them next round once he has meter.
Props to daigo though for not giving a fuck and throwing those fireballs anyway. Taison must have been reverse mind fucked thinking why Daigo hasn’t learned his lesson yet.

Yeah, that was an insane rushdown on Daigo of all people. Although, Momochi couldn’t hold out and lost the set to Daigo and his crazy spacing abilities.

Yes, in the distant future, they use Day/Month/Year format instead of Month/Day/Year format.

knowing that he got most of his headbutts off a multi hit combo, 4-5 hits and knowing how much the ultra would have been scaled down and not using it is way more then ok at best.
he was better off waiting for a standalone head butt to do it or use it to make daigo think twice about throwing so many fireballs and if he doesnt… ultra right through it!

Putting the month before the date makes no sense chronologically. It’s why I always write a three letter abbreviation for month (15 Aug, 2009) for dates or else it may get people confused (Canada is dd/mm/yy, but there are plenty of Americans writing mm/dd/yy here adding to the confusion!)
