That was fucking silly.
   that saids it all…
man every match i see justin vs japanese he runs and runs and runs… remember cvs2 vs mago… he paid the price. Go rc to death. and him beatin raoh which i know the raoh is so so much better…
Japanese are gonna think we are a bunch of run aways… i mean is turtling and stuff but come on dude at least attack the guy.Daigo was like uummm “you u gonna attack now or u wanna jump back some more”…that is what i looked like.
Glad daigo won that way:evil: and
i agree with magnus1234… they were not ready for run away stills but next year they will those kinds of chumps for free…they will be prepare…:evil: even though this year they were confused by it :bluu:… but i give justin props for beating mad people there

it’s on DC that you have to parry it before the flash (“thanks” to the input lag)
I’ve parried the Hoyoukusen after the flash several times on arcade
i felt there was no strategetic value for him taunting other than to try and get a reaction, he was getting pissed himself, and you can always power up outside of hitting distance.
if there was strategy to it, he wouldn t be doing it to everyone and eating free supers, but thats probably controlled too(i m not sucking cock, its just you had to watch all his matches to relize how much control he has in the game, maybe to make justin use meter, who knows).
everything stupid he did was on purpose, daigo can play clean as hell its not even funny, its cause he CAN play clean as hell everyone is saying he s toying with justin.
i have no doubt in my mind even losing the second round in that match was on purpose to set something like that up in the end, c mon, who the fuck does a 99% blockable dp in the corner against a turtler? he knows better. i remember 1 match he did nothing but crouching mk into dps without hit confirming, after seeing daigo in real life, he definetly hit confirms on reaction(with lil practice, low mk lasts long as hell), it seems he cancels into it when he doesn t really care to play a clean game.
as for daigo standing still multiple times in the match, in my opinion its more the “you ain t shit, do something”, not “i m pissed, you come to me”.
I…I…
I feel so inadequate.
wow…
just…unbelievable. thats some inspirational shit right there.
oooooooooh shit. =/
WHOA
- to combo the whole thing is insane
- to setup for the finish is insane
- the pressure he deals with is insane
It’s INSANE
I don’t know exactly how the first part of the match went, but I figure Justin was playing an irritating style. Daigo’s style does seem a little too aggressive (he seems mad) to be down so much (not to say he didn’t know what he was doing).
BUT here’s the thing: 1) he WAS NOT stepping back and forth to parry - it was to get the distance he needed. Notice he moves according to Chun’s movements. And 2) notice he stopped attacking after he realized he downed Justin’s energy just enough to kill with his finish combo! Another words, he KNEW what he was going to happen at that point and what he was going to do about it!
If I had to guess, I’d say Justin in a sense gambled – dared Daigo to try to parry the super… because Daigo’s super wasn’t charged (correct me if I’m wrong folks) and there wasn’t a huge risk involved - or so he thought. I mean, WHO would’ve thought?!
Wow, I did not know this. Thx for info.
I’m sorry - not that it’s important, but by the looks of it, Daigo may have still had a super available… not sure. Either way - WHOA!
First off, that shit was freakin sick. First time I saw it I was like WOW, freakin Daigo = god.
All these people giving like what they would have done. Nope, they would have done the same stuff in that situation. You cant say Justin Wong sucks or should feel bad or like shit after getting full special parried. Cause he was playin Daigo so you cant really say anything cause Daigo would have probably owned you even harder.
Last, some people are saying its luck or he was positioning himself in the best place. No, cause I know for a fact he can do it anywhere, and at anytime. If anyone would have gone to the pre-EVO tourny at FFA you would have seen that first hand. Cause he parried the same special at the tourny. But the guy came in MK down into special, Daigo parried it all till half way of the special and just MK, Hadoken, special.
Props to Justin for at least ranking top 3. I’m glad America didnt get owned.
But Japanese didnt do so great and werent total ownage because the things were on console. Thats my theory.
props to daigo vs justin…
props to justin especially for bringing so much drama and attention to the game… maybe itll gain some momentum
I wonder why Justin didn’t charge for 5 more sec for a ex fireball into a super…
Maybe the initial fireball frame would give away his plan a split second faster, and he chose not to do that, but I think a super freeze already give Daigo enough time to react, so not much of a diff to add a ex fb into the mix. It’d make the super harder to parry.
Amazing…that was just unbelievably crazy!
Good fucking god. dies
If that same instance EVER happens to JWong again against Daigo, he WILL add that fireball (yet STILL hope for the best). And the people in the back would prolly be shouting “DON’T SUPER! DON’T SUPER!”.
I suck at video games, so I might as well ask. Was wondering why didn’t justin just turtle somemore?
Okay, that makes sense. I’ve only ever tried it on DC. Thanks for clearing that up.
At that distance, you can parry after the flash. Any closer and he would have had to parry before.
That was really sick especially jumping up parrying and landing a combo after
Can’t believe justin would just do a random super… chun is vunerable at start up you can just throw her
Daigo is still crazy tho
Yellows4 did sumthing similar by red parrying her super at M.A.T that was sick 2
