Just got back from the doctor. While my blood test results are fine, the X-ray still shows some residual mess from the fluid in my lungs. So it’s two more weeks of antibiotics (and shitting like I had Taco Bell) for me.

Strong Antibiotics tend to do that, they will rob your digestive system of beneficial bacteria that aids in digestion.
Soon as you off your meds consider some probiotics, even a cup a yogurt a day helps.
I’m actually taking probiotics right now. Combination of Erceflora (which is straight up bacteria in vials) and Yakult.
Been off meds for two weeks now. Right lung is still somewhat weaker and has some scar tissue in it, but it’s slowly but surely clearing up.

Got a cold this past weekend. While I usually get this kind of thing a couple or so times in a year, decided to see my pulmonologist just in case. So now she’s given me a couple of meds just to clear out the cough and cold, and some antibiotics just in case.
