CvS2: K Groove Charas.... .. . _

Okay here’s some basic stuff for them plz because character sections don’t exist! er.

Sagat: press crouch fierce a lot, u win
Cammy: press st roundhouse a lot, u win
Blanka: press a lot of buttons and move the joystick a lot, u win

just about any character can be played in k-groove. i personally like blanka/rock/sagat…i know it isn’t the “best” team, because ‘since ino uses cammy/sagat/blanka, it has to be best.’ I mean; on paper it is, and maybe for him it is…but it might not be the best for YOU. i mean if your playing to get good, i guess juss try and play cammy/sagat/blanka and have a better cammy/sagat/blanka than everybody. i’ll give u character that really gets HURT in k-groove, and that is chun-li, don’t use her in that groove, wuteva u do.

guile is cool, keep him, juss work on him. sagat is a BEAST in k-groove. keep him r2. i’ll try n go through a list u could get an idea from though.

hibiki, rock, geese, kim, kyo, blanka, cammy, bison, vega, zangief, chang, ryu, athena, sakura, morrigan…all of these are from personal experience…others i have HEARD are good, like rugal, e.honda…just experiment

i think Terry is the best K Groove char after every JD crouching FK it’s unstoppable. Easy linkable and safe (if blocked) super. Since he doesn’t have a reliable anti-air (down-fwd + FP gets stuffed a lot and rising tackle has charge time) being able to JD those jump in’s is a plus.

Raiden is also a good char because when he’s raged he does insane damage and takes like no damage.

Other characters I like in K Groove: Todo (only cause I like running up to people command grab -> level 3 people just sit there and take it I dunno why), E Honda (insane damage), Yamazaki (insane damage, just seems to work well with him hard to explain), Geese (damage, his level 1 and 2 supers are useless IMO so good you only got level 3’s), Dan (fixes a lot of problems with his game), and Yun.

In my opinion K-Kyo is coo. Kyo with a small jump is good for rushing and his straight up jump rh is too good. His wake up mix up game is good and with rage is more rewarding with all that extra damage and whatnot.

And K - Guile rocks the world.

And K Sagat needs no introduction so…

IMO the best K-Characters are the ones with low risk supers like Sagat/Ryu/Chun Li (Cammy/Rock and a few others are exceptions cuz because their supers have such a high rate of hitting even though their recovery times suck). Air JD, j.mp, j.mp, Psycho Crusher with M.Bison ownz!!!:smiley:

K-Joe is also to good, plus has an funny run.:lol: K-Yama seems to suck though cuz NO ONE every has the courage to jump when I’m Raged even when I bait them.:rolleyes:

Well my K-groove characters are: Chun Li, Cammy, Rock, Kyo, Sagat, Ryu, Ken, and (NEW) Joe!!!:smiley:

Chun-li’s supers are 100% safe when blocked. That’s why she’s top tier! Joe also has the most awesomest super in the game (even though his recovery time sucks).

Well my k groove team is eagle/geese/sagat.

Eagle is just 2 good with his poke and keep away game and just defend makes him datr much betta. If i dont use geese i usually replace him with either ryu chun li yama or dahlsim.

i play guile/geese/sagat now i really like guile in k, his sonic hurican super is no risk and even if u dont hit u can do some good tickdamage, when geese is raged u can guardcrush that fast that u dont even realize ist when it happens^^ and i dont have to say anything about sagat

chun’s only really good in a groove with supers (ie, not K) ready, since that how she does her damage, plus she’s a very active character, so you’re kinda wasting her meter building ability.

I personally use Sagat/Cammy/Blanka(2) in K.

Sagat owns in any groove, but empty low jump into tiger raid 0wnz, as with low jump rh. Running helps him keep the pressure up, and lets him cross up just about everytime someone gets knocked down.

Cammy is a amazing zoning character, though i like her with a dash more than a run. JD helps when you mess up your zoning, and she’s perfect for the age old technique of JD -> Throw.

Blanka shines with small jump, every knock down after rage is basically a free super…since you can play the crossup game with this l3. and man…chipping with Electricity after rage is sick.

i’m trying out Guile now in K groove, and he’s pretty good in K, since his Sonic Hurricane is 99% safe, and the instand range on that thing is crazy. running and small jump can add even more mix into his sonic boom traps, so i’d like to work on him more
