Hey, me and a couple friends will be in Vancouver this weekend (we’re from Victoria) and noticed that this was happening. We don’t know anybody and probably aren’t very good. Is it cool if we show up?

It would be sweet to meet some people and get some real competition. I have entered exactly one other SF4 tournament; it was at a local anime convention, had about 16 players, and it required participants to use Xbox controllers. Lol.

Last minute registration FTW!

I’ll be bringing a monitor. We’ll see if I also need to bring a console or not.

Haven’t played since EVO so this is everyone’s chance to beat my ass.

We should have both consoles hooked up. If you prefer to play on a particular console, you can ask to play your match on it if your opponent consents. If not, then well flip a coin or something, lol.

How does registration for doubles work? Do we just tack our names to the numbered list or just show up on the day of?

Just show up and register yourself and a partner in 2v2 in person at the tourney. =)

We used to “pre-reg” for 2v2, but then people were indecisive and mainly picked partners last minute.
