Alright chaps, I kept a few balls back from last batch for myself, but as things have been slow I thought I’d put them up for sale to inject some life here until the next batch is in. I’ll post them later, there’s about 9 of them.

Looks like there’s only 8, and the half and half, which is never going to sell so I won’t offer her up.
#1: red pearl - these aren’t the finest examples as the pearlesence is only in and thick band across the middle. There are two of these, one has a vertical stripe and one has a horizontal stripe.
#2: Clear dark blue - reserved
#3: lime
#4: dark green
#5: Charcoal - this is similar to the last charcoal one, but it has glittery specks. This one is 35mm
#6: 35mm clear yellow - reserved
also #7: I believe I still have an orange one too.
Don’t suppose I can change the lime order to that clear yellow?
Aww man, I love that dark blue one (#2). I can’t ask for you to hold it for me until tomorrow, right? I want to make sure I’ll be able to get it. :sad:

These may very well be it from me after serious consideration. Since our hard work and ideas were taken from us and used against us, and you guys understandably moved over to cheaper postage and lured by freebies, I’ve been putting on a brave face and trying to hide my feelings, but the truth is that I’ve been losing a lot of sleep over the situation and it’s starting to affect my health. My love for the forums took a huge hit when it happened and with that a great deal of the passion left me, it’s just not the same feeling offering these to you anymore. It’s 4:30am, I’ve been awake since 3. We’ll see how I feel tomorrow but right now I’m pretty fucking miserable.
Hey Kane, I feel for you. I don’t mean to sound like a prick or anything, but it was bound to happen sometime. Once someone comes up with an idea, you’ll always see some sort of competition. Like it was said earlier, you and butteroj (I dunno if there’s anyone else) both have different things and because of that I wouldn’t mind buying balltops from both of you.
Try not to let it get to you man.
Same sentiments as Chunstoppable. If two sources for plexis in the US and Europe can coexist, I’d bet two sources for custom balltops can, too.
Also, I didn’t know you guys could source 35mms! Those would be serious competition against butteroj’s (as yet) 39mm-only balls, I think.
I’m with the two above. And as far as I know, doesn’t butteroj only ship to US and Canada?

Not sure how close a match it is, the ball pretty much looks exactly as the picture, a deep dark green. Number 2 is gone I’m afraid.
Thanks for the pep talk guys. Unfortunately most of our sales were to the US, and posting this handful of balls (hur hur) was a really good indication of how badly we’ve been hit as I’ve sold two, where as ordinarily they would have all been taken by now. With most of our customers gone we would find it very hard to survive and we can’t afford to have these sat around gathering dust, waiting for people to pick them off once Butteroj runs out of stock. I also really don’t want to play second fiddle to our own product. It’s kind of like a clone of yourself turning up and moving into your house, and you come home from work to find your locks have been changed and your wife is watching tv with your clone and seems to be getting on better with him, so you have no choice but to move house and start again.
I’m going to be ordering the next batch though probably, just to see if we can get through. If it goes badly then that’s probably going to be the last lot you’ll see from us, and most likely the last you’ll see from me personally on these forums.

I think the main reason the last ones you put up didnt sell so well was probably because there werent that many options plus the really good colors got taken really fast… I wanted the Lime one myself but by the time I saw it 2-3 people were already talking about getting it.
Place another order and I will keep a lookout and order from you no doubt… and this is coming from someone who already ordered 4 from butteroj but I know you’ll have different stuff and I look forward to it…
Also dont be afraid to be creative with the colors/designs you might be surprised to see how many people want some unique instead of having just a red ball top that anyone can order from lizard lick.
can you hold that dark green for me for a day? Talking with a prospective customer for some stick work and want to know before I scoop it for’em.

And I agree with the guy above, don’t be scared to get creative, if you can bring even greater designs to the table again I imagine they’d fly well.
Can you put up a pic of the orange. I’m pretty sure I’d like to buy it but I’d like to see it first.
