By all means drop by, just gives me a reason to not go to class
i did feel really focused at times, and really not focused at times. i know that i’ve probably never landed as many geese counters per game on average before (in fact i began to feel way more comfident with them during all that playing). there were times where like past game 50 i felt like i was playing in my sleep. it was really weird. like playing some brain dead geese and braindead cammy tactics. then start losing and wake myself up and play serious with sagat.
whens a good time to drop by again?
some people were asking me about when i was going to drop by again so i figured i would.
everyones got a good attitude so i figure if i show up enough people could possibly learn a thing or two from me.
edit: last time i was there i saw some people playing initial d. my friends an initial d fan so we’re going today (sunday) around 12. if you know the initial d players tell them to drop by.
… is sunday an ok day to go at all? im thinking it may be a bad idea
edit2: on second thought i may not go at all. only if someone posts that there are initial d/cvs2 players.
Arcade is closed on Sunday, don’t go : P
they barely put in intial d very recently, so i doubt that many people play it yet.
Nah initial D has actually been pretty active. Its seems almost eveyone taht goes in teh arcade plays initial D
Yep
look…shutup
Hey CSULB (ie Steve and Roland) we gotta seriously run a tourney. Maybe we can shoot for a saturday since I honestly don’t think we can get them to reserve us time and give us freeplay. We could just stick a piece of paper to the machine announcing when the tourney will run.
No comment (acting like you’re all good).
i never said i was good. but i think the results speak for themselves that im BETTER than most at csulb. and i didnt say that to put myself on a pedastal, i see some potential in csulb players, and i think they can do better. is there something wrong with that? just chill man.
What are some good times to come to CSULB?
I’m biased since I’m only there from 9-12:30 on MW that’s a good time.
That’s the hottest time to be in the game room for sure. M-W after 4:00 sometimes gets hot. Tues-Thurs in the afternoon are ok, but can’t touch MW.
As far as Minh teaching the CSULB players a thing or two, nobody at CSULB would have taken offense to that comment. Most of the players are really into learning, a handful are stubborn, and only a small percentage actually “Play to win.” But thats how it goes at any arcade I suppose.
In a related story, Geese play at CSULB has risen 250% since the win streak.
In an unrelated story, CvS2 has been confirmed for Gamezone this week, so bring your top game.
That’s way too ghetto, I’d rather hole up in a classroom with a console and a TV and some sticks than do that.
Have you talked to anyone about the freeplay? On a saturday, they make no money, we should have a good shot at getting them to put the games on freeplay for a fee (say, $100 for 3s and CvS2 on freeplay?).
Nah I don’t get there early anymore to talk to the tech guy, I’ll call monday. Too bad I work on sat I wanna go to Gamezone, maybe I can if I get home early
speaking of calling, everyone and their mom that plays 3s has been complaining about the left side, saying how it never ever works. someone is always like “im gonna call that number” ubt no one ever does. my friend adam actually says “you know what, im gonna call it!” and he calls it.
an hour later the guy comes and fixes the left side (i forgot to tell him the sound didnt work) and that was that. all im sayin is call that number and you should get results pretty fast.
I’ve told that to everyone a billion times but no one calls
Wait, so the left side was fixed recently, or a long time ago?
Like yesterday or something
how often is the mvc2 occupied by a decent crowd?
