Wow, what a great thread to catch up on. For some reason, I always forget about this place. Shame on me.

So yeah, we do have a lot of stalkers in there. Here’s a quick list with a quote:

Won’t be playing tomorrow actually, gotta go straight home to take care of stuff this week. We’re like the only ones with Friday classes though; don’t think anyone else will come unless we go for the console day thing then?

Carl’s Jr guy does talk. He’s pretty chill like the rest of us. Young Asian guy never showed up again. Some new Asian dude today though, K-Sagat, Honda, Ryu. Lost to him like three times, two of them due to stupid mistakes like kara cancelling into Spiral Arrow -_-

But yeah, that asian guy was pretty good… Both me and Larry had him within striking distance but the little mistakes cost us dearly… I kept failing to connect cr. LK x2 into Buster Wolf. Had I done that, I could have beaten him… and I did surprisingly well with Raiden against him that time.

I’m thinking that young asian kid is at the hospital or something. Maybe he fractured his arm that one time he was actually playing CVS2 and had his elbows flailing about everywhere.

Rewinding back to Kevin… I forgot to mention what happened during a match between us yesterday.
I’m sure everyone knows by now knows his playstyle (repeated jumps in the corner), so yesterday we were playing and I had Raiden against his birdy girl.
Like I said before, I really don’t like playing cat and mouse like he wants to play that with you, so I rushed at him, J. RH then 360 grab.
After I dealt the damage, I did what he likes to do - I dashed all the way to my corner and waited for him to come to me.
Time runs out as he was trying to deal some damage to me, emphasis on “trying”, and then I say "Haha! That was funny!"
He responds, “More like cheap.”

First off it looks as if Hugo is high on the list to be a dlc character for SSF4 if they end up doing any - Despite the decision to release Super as a disc-based game, Ono said that “it’s completely possible” for new characters to be made available as DLC in the future. As for what characters may be up for inclusion, Ono refused to offer any details. He did, however, reveal that Final Fight’s Haggar is not top of the list.

“Technically, it’s completely possible,” he said. “If I hear many voices of people saying, ‘come on, update the game in 2011, add a character or two’, I could. But in that case I wouldn’t put Haggar in, it would be Hugo!”

Via Eventhubs - Confirming the rumors posted the other day, PlanetXbox360 reported that Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was shown at Capcom’s Captivate event in Hawaii.

There’s an embargo on the details, so you won’t be seeing screen shots, movies and other things until early next week, but here’s the notes they were able to get together.

? Confirmed characters so far are Wolverine, Spider-Man, The Hulk, Magneto, Storm and a few others will return.

? The Marvel vs. Capcom 3 development team said they will be blowing fans out of the water with the sheer number of characters this game includes on the disc.

? This will be another 2D fighter ? gameplay-wise ? but will be something of a cross between the original Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Street Fighter 4.

? The rumored release date is late 2010 or early 2011 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, no plans right now for other systems.

? The game will run in 1080p resolution.

? It will be a disc-based release.

? Apparently the game will have unlockables again.

? Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be playable at this year’s E3 which is held on June 15 - 17th.

So… I’m gonna get to play this when I got to e3 in june. Still would rather see CvS3
