You should post up before you head down there, let’s play some 3s.

I spoke with one of the OCE employees a couple of weeks ago, and he says that they’ll be adding in more games eventually, cvs2 being one of them. However, don’t take this as the official word though. He also mentioned that they plan to add in DDR and some redemption games. I asked about ST or HF and it’s very unlikely since those games aren’t as popular around here.

As for SF4, let’s put it this way: OCE is very aware of the type of customers that go to this arcade, and they know that there aren’t as many dedicated SF players around here anymore. So why spend the money to purchase the game, then spend even more time and money to custom build a cabinet to hold it (as they did for the one at UCLA) - only to put it at an arcade that doesn’t even have a lot of consistent players? As much as I would like to have SF4 there, realistically it’s probably not gonna happen. The only way I can see it being possible is if Coinz shuts down, and if they have no where else to put SF4. But who knows, we’ll see what happens.

On a more positive note, I requested stools, and he says that he’ll put in the request. :woot:

iirc, you wanted to main Ryu in 3s? Try going to youtube and search the following:

That’ll give you a lot of ideas on Ryu’s potential.

I know they have a T.V and small lounge area there. I can ask to see if they’re willing to let us run consoles on it. I don’t see why not considering that it’s hardly being used.

Would you (or anyone else reading this thread) be able to provide a SF4 setup? If yes specify which system.

exactly dude, that TV is damn useless. We could also tell the university that, if they charge an entry fee and provide prizes, they can get a solid turnout. I’m sure with pursuasion they’d be fine with it…and anything to boost the fuckin campus life, that shit is mad lame

hell ya i can provide a setup. I have 2 360 sticks (one is actually out for warranty repair, should be back soon though) and all characters unlocked. I’d be happy to use it for a setup.
