As for whatever wins, I don’t much care this point (as long as it’s not Mortal Kombat, since all of the ones that I’ve played were clone heavy). I probably won’t draw and even if I do it won’t be spectular.
However, I do ask that if SF3 III wins, that at next poll (if there is next poll, considering how much [foreseen] bickering is going on), that we don’t include a single game with Street Fighters. As much as I want to see SFEX, I can wait (or do it myself).
Looks like it’ll be 3S. Which I don’t mind, but man, we just did Capcom…

Chain: While we’re discussing the new game, have you considered a new way of running things? I think this has outgrown the Giant Single Forum Thread concept. Right now when I browse the thread it’s awkward - read a comment, go back 1 or 2 pages to see the piece that was commented on, notice something else, get sidetracked, etc.
I was thinking it would be great to set up a simple group blog instead, with every contributor to the thread having posting access. The big advantage is that all the newest posts are right there on the front page, but each post can also be automatically filed into categories, so each character will have their own section for easy browsing. On top of that, people can post comments directly to each picture individually instead having those giant multi-comments that drift about now. This also saves you from having to manually make those galleries every week.
Come to think of it, I actually wouldn’t mind GG… Faust reminds me of Voldo!

That does sounds like a very interesting suggestion. I have some concerns about that though.
- I have never messed with a blog in my entire life and don’t really know how they work. What blogsites are good for this sort of thing?
- One of the reasons this has gotten popular is because of the community that lies in the SRK boards, and if the discussion is taken off the board, I’m worried it would have less particpation.
- I actually kind of like having it all in one thread, so that I can scroll through and see all the art and read everyones comments without looking at a bunch of different pages.
I do like the idea of taking less effort for me though, because I’ve recently come into a job that will require a great deal of my time. If you guys can suggest a good place for this, and maybe help guide me through it to start, I might just do this.
If SF3 wins, it will be my duty as a Makoto fanboy to draw her in all her Karakusa’ing glory.

I sort of want GG to win but I too am a Makoto fanboy and I want to see 3S win just for that.
