Finally getting some progress working some realistic colors in (not so much dodge and burn anymore), still lots of trouble spots like on the nose (looks too wide), and the hair is a bitch to do on the mouse.

had a different approach on this one. 50% pencil, 10% tablet outline, the rest of the definition i left up to the coloring. a strange mix of laziness and something else i can’t figure out

Getting there…screwed up the hair and since I was stupid I didn’t back up the layer. Zoom on the image is 100% for the top and 200% below that and I dunno what zoom setting the bottom one is. Had to redraw the eyes completely because the pencilled ones look stupid. Although now it looks weird airbrush-y sorta thing. Like the artstyle you see on a custom van with the chick with a white tiger and loincloth.
Oh well, I’ve learned my lesson. I guess I’ll just make another new one and do it completely on PS and start on a much higher res (since this one at a 100% is only 1224x1632 and its hard to add detail). Plus this Morrigan’s face didn’t turn out pretty at all, especially since she’s supposed to seduce men easily.
