From experience, running a tournament for a game on two different systems creates bottlenecks. Sometimes one player doesn’t have one type of stick that the other has, resulting in one guy complaining because he has to borrow a stick he’s not familiar with. It’s also a pain matching these guys up. Sometimes if more people have xbox sticks, then a queue forms on the tvs playing xbox, and the other ps3s go unused.
I don’t want to say that because Evo used all PS3s that we should follow them, but it’s the players responsibility to provide their tools to play.
With that said, I’ll let Mr. Bampire voice his opinion on the matter. If anyone really cared, they should probably bring 360 systems if they are so adamant about playing on xbox.
4 setups can finish a 64 man bracket in a matter 4 - 5 hours TOPS if the organizers actually follow tournament procedures by DQing mofo’s who aren’t responsible enough to tell us where they went or what they’re doing.
And seriously, don’t hesitate to DQ people if they’re holding up the tournament for more than 10 minutes. I’m also going to regulate on that. If you guys have some place to go, LET THE ORGANIZERS KNOW.
With that aside, there will be a queue system in place to make sure that the tournament will be finished in due time.
For real, we’re coming up on a point with SF4/HDR where if you’re playing in tournaments on a regular basis you need to have something figured out for both systems. Either dual mod your stick, which there are plenty of people in the bay willing to do that work for you at a reasonable fee(and is the best option), or bring two sticks.
If we hit October and you’re still holding shit up because you can only play on one system…that’s gonna be some booboo shit. That’s 8 months of dual console tournaments to figure that shit out. If you’re on pad…wtf man would you throw that thing in the garbage already?

Yea sorry guys we have no more room in the place for anymore setups from what we’ve already said, also we can’t do the Xbox thing because that will make things way too conflicted with PS3 players and Xbox players, I have one small hori stick if that helps anyone out…
