Short write up on the tournament, along with a video of the Grand Finals with Jack/Steve and Ricky!
My only suggestion is to work on getting SD TV’s next time. I am not the one to complain about lag but the LCDs you guys had seemed to lag pretty hard in a lot of instances.
Other than that, Id say just try to make sure there is a match going on all the stations at all times so things move a lot faster. I like the venue though, it was a cool set up being able to get beer at the bar. lol
oh yeah make sure Kim is running brackets again… :lovin::lovin::lovin: lol
Haunts pretty much hit it on the head, next one could use less laggy tvs and just making sure that those empty tvs get filled up as soon as possible
i guess peeps can bring there 360 sticks now just incase the pc stations are open since only a few did

i like how the setups were very simple. The thin room equals easy access back and forth between games only things to really complain about just one very laggy tv (pointing finger —> vizio) and late start time, but overall very good tourney.

A piece of constructive Criticism:
I would definitely work on a loud speaker system. This would be great for general announcements and good for calling people over to there games.
Really loved this venue. Magus’s Gief scared me round 2. :grrr:
Venue was nice.
BUT
Fucken bartender was MIA for like 30 mins…Finally shows up looking half dead. Pours one drink for a white old man then bounces again even though i’m sitting there staring at him trying to get his attention the whole time. Fuck that guy. I was there for like an hour and couldn’t get one drink. All i wanted was the “I love America” drink special 
Fire that guy. I was seriously gonna complain to management but then got lazy and went home instead to run evo part duex.

I thought the venue was cool as well. It was nice to meet Andy man, finally. Thanks to thrust07 for organizing HDR. For real, we should get more HDR action, or VST teams! I thought it was kinda funny, more than half of the people I played in the tourney, I already play outside and we all knew each other.
Only a PA system would get everyone’s attention. A dj in the making would be willing to volunteer. 2 large cab speakers, amp, a mixer, and a few mics is all you need. 
Plus, you guys need pool assignment and labels for each set up. I mostly heard “Yo, Mr. 6-button flash-kicker button-fucker-upper, you’re playing Turtle Head Boy in that TV over there”. It was just disastrous at that point. It’s hard to be heard in a room with over 100 heads.
