I just do c.LP’s xx HCB+K instead of adding the c.MP xx HCB+K. It feels like a one frame link and it’s not worth that little more damage for such a tight link.

I team Marduk up with Rufus and they do really big damage with Rufus on point. After a Galactic Tornado xx Switch Cancel, j.HK, nj.HP, c.MP xx DP+HP.
Also works in the corner after Rufus Snake Strike BnBs.

And one of Marduk’s big flaws is switching because his combos don’t really set him up for it. After a launcher or an EX HCB+KK combo I do cl.MP, cl.LK, c.MK, c.HP xx Switch Cancel.

if they made mardock’s cr hk not super cancelable that be cool also because then i wouldnt wasting 2 meter when I input heavy kick fast.

What about switching off d+pp. Never tried it but seems like it should work. I gotta test this a little.

Off of Cammy’s heavy spiral arrow Marduk can link 3 medium punches together.

Okay guys, I have made a couple of revisions to the OP.

Not loads of stuff obviously, but I have just replaced the eye sore of text with the more simple and easy to go off of button icons and arrow inputs.

I believe these are easier to read than a massive wall of text. :slight_smile:

dang it looks like no one is interested in doing goofy combos with Marduk. on a lighter note, it looks like the combo I mentioned in my other post actually is the most damaging. its also still the hardest of the bunch but definitely doable online and actually easier due to the fact that he can plink with two punch buttons now in 2013.

I also found another fun combo that he can do now with his cl.mp buff but its only a stylish thing and doesnt do.max damage. i’ll post it if anyone asks for it.

i only posted the combo that i felt was the hardest and it turns out its his most damaging combo after the EX Double Leg Takedown. that was cr.mp cadc cl.mp cr.mp xx gator slam. that is of course, after the EX DLT.<br><br>the combo i found out that i think looks cool but actually doesnt do his best damage is cl.Mp cl.Mp cr.Lp and then chain into the far Mp down Hp string which you can cancel any special from. in this case either a normal DLT or an EX DLT. i enjoy doing it when im not worried about damage but a more damaging combo would be going straight from the 2 cl.Mp’s into cr.mp then whatever you want.

Oh okay. That combo does sound cool. So now you can do cr.mp cadc cls.mp after ex dlt? thats cool. I’ll try that. I usually do far mp, d+hp, cr.mp. If that does more damage then I am all for it!<br>

i’ve always been a fan of finding out which combos or normals can net me the most damage. the only thing is i have one small problem and this game doesnt help it. my TV is ASSSS and the text in this game is really small. so this means that its really hard for me to tell if im always doing the max damage unless i notice a number change which is still hard to notice. with that in mind it would be awesome if you guys can test out a post switch cancel combo of mine and compare it with yours to see which one does more damage. so you guys can just let me know if youre down with it and i’ll just drop the combo here in a post. 

My team can’t do the cr.hp, CADC, st.mp, cr.mp after launch makes me sad.<br><br>That Cr.mp cadc, st.mp, cr.mp  after ex ddt is crazyyyy it does so much like 430 damage!<br>

Launch doesn’t launch high enough from what I can tell.

who’s launcher did you try? I would like to test it out. I know it works with Abels launch and Kings launch. I mightve even tried Steves.

what are marduk’s bnbs?
im using the team juri/marduk and i know there is something there i just cant figure it out…any tips?

I play Bob Marduk.

i just tried it and it works. midscreen only though, it looks like the cr.HP is too slow to land in a corner after a normal height launch. the characters i tried it on were Kazuya, Kuma, Cammy, and Jack-X just to see if maybe it was maybe character specific but if there are any characters known to fall quickly then it might not work on them. After a launch its pretty hard to get that cr.HP at first but it might be easier with a bit of training and a P-link here and there.

I don’t know if I’m late as fuck or what but Marduk can combo his command grab off of b+mp on at least Ryu. Didn’t try it on anyone else.

I saw a similar combo to this but thought I would expand on it.

LP, sMP, st.HP, ex takedown, st.LK, st.MK, cr.MP xx ex gator slam

I think mp gator slam might work too.
