My Ken is ok at best.
I still need to learn spacing with him, but my mixup is acceptable.

I am trying hard to learn links, and his Cr. MP link => shippu is one of the strongest in the game.

How do I do it?

I’ve been trying :d::mp::df::r::qcf::k: but I’ve been getting negative edge Dwn MP into Hadou

I’ve been also trying :d::mp::qcf::qcf::k: but I’m either not fast enough, or I’m not doing it on the correct frame.

Any help or advice on how to do this is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

This link is pretty straightforward, although I find the timing to be kind of strict, and I mess it up more than others. First of all, train yourself to release buttons quicker. Getting a fireball from negative edge is just sloppy execution. I know a lot of people like to do weird buffers and stuff, but when I do it, I don’t even start my qcf’s until I see it hit, and because of that, learning new hit confirms is easy instead of having to figure out where I can hide my buffers with each new link/confirm.

I just always hold down mp and just drum lk and hk. Pherai’s way sounds better though.
