The mass panic is real.
I’ve heard about real issues with people hoarding stuff like masks and hand sanitizers to the point of hospitals having trouble with their supply chains.
It’s either ridiculous downplaying or absolute panic, no inbetween.
I didn’t know how screwed you are with sick days and healthcare tho.
To put it in perspective, if I recall it correctly, sick days are a constitutional right here.
You don’t get utterly bodied for needing any kind of testing because of the (admittedly overburdened and ill-managed) universal healthcare system, so things like that one dude who had to pay over a grand just to get tested for CoVid are unlikely to actually happen.

Yeah. Shit is about to get weird in the coming weeks. The asymptomatic trasmission is a real ge changer in this situation.
That and the absolute lack of honestyabout the situation. Leads to that silly tug of war about just how bad it is or isnt. Trump admin causing more panic by downplaying things than they are by keeping them matter of fact.
The other really big problem is that all the potential quarantines means that solving the income issue for people. Thats a lot of tabs that an overwhelming majority of Amerucans cant pay for. The virus is way more complicated than just the biology.

Indiana got smacked with 1 case so far and i can hear the sounds of Family Dollar/Dollar General getting ransacked in the wind. Would of course happen in Indianapolis of all spots to pop up.
