Sad thing is we should be over this hump, but people want to be selfish and our leadership, well lacking is an understatement.

Yeah…and my wife and I have had long talks about what’s going on with the schools reopening.

So this showed up in the mail today. I’m not interested in giving the Trump administration any info so we’ll see if they follow through.

Summary

Ok so the medical field is Pure Ass right now. You’re expected to be on the front lines treating COVID patient’s in 1:1 proximity around the clock, always told how you’re “appreciated” but, once you inevitably catch COVID from the 847th patient treated? They don’t want to throw you a bone, you’re just at home getting eaten alive by the virus with no additional compensation.

Virus is no joke! Some can recover on their own with relatively little difficulty. For others? It can be like they now have Cancer. High Heart rate and short of breath around the clock, headaches that won’t go away, legs swelling up because of pressure placed on the heart, unable to sleep laying down anymore, generally just ready to die, etc.

Those that do recover? Antibodies only good for about 3 weeks. You are NOT immune! And when you return to work, you’ll go back to treating nothing but fukkin’ COVIDs non-stop till you inevitably get it again. There is no, “Oh can i be put with non-COVIDS this time?”. Nope, everybody and their grandma at these hospitals have COVID now.

Are you seeing a lot of re-infection? Most other reports up til now have seemed to suggest it happens to some people but is fairly uncommon.

This is disturbing…

it is, but its called triage for a reason.
And part of that is making very unconformable decisions based on available resources such as time, space, beds, personnel and medical supplies on hand.

Texas wanted to open early after all.

I mean it’s not like people weren’t warning of this exact same scenario playing out.

South Texas is relatively poor as hell compared to the rest of the state. They definitely don’t have the resources to deal with this type of stuff.

Which is why a few months ago they warned about the inability of rural areas to deal with these types of situation. I was told El Paso is basically operating at capacity now because of CoVid.

Keep yourselves safe, avoid people, and all the other good stuff. Think at this point we can count on our governments being inept; particularly so if they are Republican run. Speaking of, wtf is going on with Florida? News out of there is surprisingly thin here.

If I had kids…I’d keep them home.

“saying children… are less likely than adults to spread it”

Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!! I realize that these guidelines are probably highly influenced by the politics of the people in charge, but clearly the dumb fuck they got to write them doesn’t actually have kids.

Fuck dude, very early on this whole situation getting started, I subbed for a Child Development Lab class. Its basically a daycare inside of high schools where kids can get as an extracurricular to learn how to deal with children in all facets.

So I’m already paranoid AF back in February because I know how fast diseases travel. It’d getting to El Paso at that time was highly unlikely but not impossible.

Let me tell you how these 3 and 4 year olds will sneeze full blast into the backs of each other’s head. Room circulation is poor in those rooms too, so a sneeze will linger like you see in the early experiments for CoVid stuff.

As is schools will randomly get miniplagues. One day you’re fine, the next some virus is just making the rounds because why not.

So lets just open all them shits up and let a disease showing to impact cognitive abilities, wreck people’s organs and all sorts of shit just rock it out.

We don’t have a lot of great choices at the moment because cash flow is always a problem, but we seem dead set on making all the bad ones.
