Things like this don’t help, but it’ll probably be May or June before over half the country starts to take this seriously, and even that might be too graceful.
Only a few countries in the world took it seriously at the beginning. Every other countries leaders are too busy downplaying and/or deflecting still.

Trump’s decisions, or lack thereof, is one of many reasons why things are so bad right now. Everyone can blame the CCP as much as they want for what they did, but the virus spreading around the world and eventually to the US was inevitable. He fumbled this badly and continues to do so. His leadership has been absolutely abysmal.

Yeah, Trump has fucked a bunch of shit up. But this virus fucked people harder because a bunch of countries took the W.H.O. seriously while they were underplaying the severity of the situation. Wanna go back and listen to how many times the head of it said that there was no need to close air travel with China? If you do so you’ll also find all the times he coughed without covering his mouth.

The US refuses the WHO test and wanted to make its own, and the US Fed test was so shit that states started to develop their own test and made the FDA do emergency approval procedures to get the ball rolling.

Oh yeah then China jailed all the citizen reporters who were trying to warn the planet and then shut down the whole internet. So yeah, almost all the warning bells that could’ve been used to force the whole planet to take it seriously were shut down one way or another.
That’s not even a point of contention. Talking about how China started this doesn’t immediately help this but holy shit is there a long fucking talk about how shit needs to change massively over there.
Considering they’re already ramping up their propaganda machine and trying to make themselves look like the good guy with a few countries, things are incredibly questionable.
